As the circumstances of the house is Hell and always quarelsome and very bad for his wife.

My explaination is that Mercury Mahadasha and Antar Dasha is running and Mercury in birth chart placed in 9H but goes to 8H in Nirayana bhaav chalit and also placed in 6H in transit. IN birth chart Mercury is in fiery sign also fiery House and degreewise it goes to 8H a bad house. in transit it is placed in Earth element both rashi as well as house and 6H is house of sickness and disease too. and fiery and earth element burns earth into ashes. this make the

native adopt short tempered. Now come to the Pratyaantardasha Lord VEnus. It is placed in 8H but it goes to 7H and also venus is placed in 6H in transit which means in birth chart Venus is in water element but it goes to air element which makes him think great powerful person and show is feelings towards his wife now see that in transit it is in 6H house of disease and having earth element which makes his attitude fix and remain uneasy always because the other two elements are not favorable for Earth element at all. Problem is that only Mother or wife can do remedies but he is unable to listen even any of the elders opinion.

In my opinion Remedies or different situation can be seen but if Jupiter give some help after his motion gets direct.
