Guest guest
Dear Sourav, Thank you for posting the site for downloading ITranslator. I had been looking for it. I downloaded ITranslator and the two fonts that were on the site: Sanskrit99 and URW Palladio IT. I am not sure if this is the same as ITrans Font. Is there is another font I need to download in addition to these two? URW Palladio IT seems to be the transliteration font for diacritical marks. If I cut and paste an incoming email into another email (or into Word) and change the font manually to URW Palladio IT, then it does translate the diacritical marks correctly. However, it does not translate the diacritical marks in the incoming email directly. Is there any way to set the ITranslator software to automatically translate URW Palladio IT characters in incoming emails, or do I need to cut and paste the text into another email and change the font manually? I agree with your sound words of caution regarding learning mantras via email (typos are so common) and also on the necessity of double checking it with someone who is knowledgable and experienced with the mantras use. Actually, my preference is to hear the mantra first, both for proper pronunciation and intonation, rather than just seeing it written. But this is not always possible, particularly in this day and age of computer communication. Still, we are lucky to have this access, imperfect as it may be at times. Thanks so much for your assistance and advice. Best Regards, Susan |om namo bhagavate vasudevaya|
