Pranaams.

 

As Gurudeva's chart was so nicely analysed in terms of Avasthas, I would rather

attempt

the 2nd question regarding my own chart.

 

My data are: 9th Jan 1971 19.40 CET Budapest (19E04 47N30)

 

Calculating the Avasthas of planets:

 

Sun:

Sun is in Poorvasadha, so C=20. P=1. A=7 as Sun is at 25deg23min. M=5 as Moon is

in

Mrigasira. Sunset was at 4.09 pm and birth time is 7.40. 3 hours 31 min have

passed, which

is 211 min, which is the 9th Ghati, so G=9. L=5 (Leo). CxPxA + M + G + L = 140 +

19 = 159

REM 3. Thus Sun is in Netrapaani Avastha.

 

Strength: 3x3 + 3 (I take G to be of value 3 as my given name is Gabor) = 12 REM

0; 5 is

added for Sun, divided by 3 REM is 2, so it's Chesta (full)

 

Moon: C=5, P=2, A=2. AVA=39 REM 3 also Netrapani Avastha. STR=2 (Chesta)

Mars: C=16, P=3, A=9. AVA=451 REM 7 Sabhaavastha STR=0 (Vichesta)

Mercury: C=19, P=4, A=2. AVA=171 REM 3 Netrapani Avastha STR=0 (Vichesta)

Jupiter: C=17, P=5, A=2. AVA=189 REM 9 Bhojana Avastha STR=2 (Chesta)

Venus: C=17, P=6, A=3. AVA=325 REM 1 Sayanaavastha STR=1 (Dristi)

Saturn: C=2, P=7, A=7. AVA=117 REM 9 Bhojana Avastha STR=0 (Vichesta)

Rahu: C=23, P=8, A=1. AVA=203 REM 11 Kautuka Avastha STR=2 (Chesta)

Ketu: C=10, P=9, A=1. AVA=109 REM 1 Sayanaavastha STR=2 (Vichesta)

 

Evaluation of Avasthas:

 

Sun in Netrapani Avastha gives good and full results, ever happy, wise, helpful,

strong,

favorite of kings (I would say that my teachers are happy with me as Sun is in

the 5th.)

 

Moon is also same Avastha and full results are expected.Great diseases,

garullous, wicked,

always bad actions. This is true to some extent, as sometimes my mind is very

difficult to

control. But it receives a dristi form the benefic Sun.

 

Mars in Sabhavastha a scholar in a king's court, wealthy, honorable, charitable.

But

strength is low so these indications are mainifesting in a very limited way.

 

Mercury in Netrapani avastha Honorable, no wisdom, no learning, no well-wishers;

[in 5

th] no happiness from wife and children, many daughters, gains money from royal

patronage.

Fortunately strength is low, so malefic results will not manifest strongly, and

conjunct

benefic Sun.

 

Jupiter strong in Bhojanavastha: Excellent food, wealth, royal insignia. He is

in 4th

house, so home affairs good.

 

Venus medium in Sayanavastha: Strong, troubles of teeth, short-tempered, poor,

licentious.

No troubles with teeth so far, maybe thakns to conjunct Jupiter.

 

Saturn weak in Bhojanavastha: Weak-sighted, delusion, enjoys tasty food. Very

correct, but

how come the results manifest if he's weak?

 

Rahu strong in Kautukavastha: Rahu: after other men's wives, steals other men's

wealth.

Did not realy happen in Rahu Mahadasa.

 

Ketu strong in Sayanavastha: Many diseases. Did not experience so far, although

same is

indicated by the Moon.

 

Please evaluate. Is the number correspondign to the name really 3 and not 4 in

my case?
