Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Hare Krishna Its amazing how the more one learns about Jyotish, the more one looks at daily events and happenings from another perspective – this is what makes Jyotish so fascinating. The other interesting observation is that you also start attracting people with similar energies to share and learn from. I had one such encounter at the weekend with a devotee, by the name Gaurangi, who’s Guru is currently terminal and soon would pass on. Gaurangi, like so many others are being faced with quite a dilemma in her spiritual journey. Will she meet another Guru for guidance – is her main concern. So this got me thinking about the whole ambit around the astrological circumstances for initiation to happen. My question to the group is: What are the indicators in the Rasi or Divisional Chart, whether one would take initiation from a diksha Guru (12th house maybe) If one has already taken initiation, where does one look to find second initiation What dasha of planets or significator of arudha padas would indicate this (I think its A5) What transits would likely bring about initiation (Would it be Jupiter) In the initiation chart, do we look at he 8th house to establish the longevity of one’s link to the Guru? Could someone please share some light on this topic so that I can have a better understanding of this. All the Best Bipin Ps: If any would like to use a working example chart of this, Ive attached Gaurangi’s chart and date of her first initiation. Birth Data: Gaurangi, Female, 27 December 1944, 12h50, EET (GMT +2hrs) Port Elizabeth, 25E40, 33S58 First Initiation: 25 April 2001, 17h30, EET (GMT +2hrs) Cape Town, 18E22, 33S55 ******************************************************************* The e-mail and attachments are confidential and intended only for selected recipients.
