Namaste Gurudeva,

 

My attempt on the questions is below:

I will post my own questions in my next mail.

 

My lagna is Aquarius:-

 

Vayu tatwa, in Sthira Rasi

Tamasic guna in Kama trikona.

The ruler Saturn's nature also Vayu Tatwa and Tamasic guna.

Further in my case the ruler Saturn is placed in the lagna.

This is also the moolatrikona sign of Saturn.

 

So, the tatwa predominant in my lagna is the Vayu.

In reality in mental plane I have this Vayu tatwa of expansiveness. In nature of the body also Vayu tatwa is predominant.

 

Guna has not been asked in the lesson. But, I will produce what I perceive about my Guna:

Predominant Guna of Aquarius is Tamasic. As the human being is made of these 3 Guna, my perception about me is Satwa Guna is slightly over my Tamasic Guna and finally comes my Rajo Guna.

 

Question No.2

What is implied by the exaltation and debility of Rahu in Taurus & Scorpio

respectively? Why is Ketu not exalted for matters of Longevity?

 

Exaltation is the favourite sign for a planet. It is a happy place other than home and office. It can be a like park, or cinema hall or temple or discotheque etc., Debilitation is the place where we will feel uncomfortable. Like for a person of Spiritual nature, he wouldn't like to stay in a discotheque hall.

 

As far as rahu is concerned, its desires are not fulfilled, so it is concerned about taking rebirth. Rebirth can happen only when death happens. The natural maraka sthana 2nd house of Zodiac is Taurus. It is the sthira rasi of Lord Shiva. So, this is the more favourite place for Rahu. Whereas, Scorpio is 8th house, where the longevity is ruled. If that house is strong, then rebirth will be delayed. It is against Rahu's motive. So, there it will be uncomfortable. A butcher will be happy in an animal slaughter place. Whereas he will be uncomfortable in a place where, there is protest against killing of animals by Animal lovers or in a place where pooja is done to save the lives of livestock by the Animal lovers.

 

KETU: Ketu is not concerned about the desire and living in this world. His one and only aim is to unite with the Paramatma. For him living or non living is not a matter. He wants to make sure that Atma of present life is taken towards the direction of moksha. So, he is not involved in the longevity matters. He is neutral in that aspect. That is why there is no exaltation or debility sign for Ketu in longevity matters.

 

Question No.3

What do you understand by the terms Moolatrikona and Swakhetra of each of the

planets?

 

Moolatrikona is the Karma place for the planet. It is like the office or work place. Swakshetra is like the home, where we do the homely matters.

 

Example. If we take Jupiter it feels homely at the Moksha house 12th sign, Pisces. Pisces is the only Moksha trikona with Satwa Guna. It is like a house where all the poojas, prayers and dhyana are done everyday towards attaining the moksha. One of the main Karma of Jupiter is establishing dharma in the world to sustain the stability. So, the 9th house, Sagittarius is the house of Dharma, is the work place for Jupiter. Sagittarius is the only Dharma trikona with Satwick nature.
