Saturn-Demolitions in Delhi

Dear Visti and Sanjay Prabhakaran-ji,

I would agree with this perspective.

In 1986 at the Astrological College, Ranjit Ganguly and Jogi-bhai

(both mundane experts) had taught us (1)Mars is the definitive

primary Karaka for land + Ketu for built-up property + Venus for

interior decor; and that(2)Saturn would always be a factor in landed

property/estate disputes.

Leading astrologers in both West Bengal and erstwhile East Bengal

(now Bangladesh) used to get a plethora of clients enquiring about

landed property disputes, property-partitioning, encroachment and

destruction/violation incidents. [The propensity of the Bangal-Babu

to scrap about property and go to court is still a popular joke in

the Bengali language]. In ALL cases they had noticed Saturn's

connection/affliction in the issue.

To propitiate Saturn - in suburban/rural Bengal, Southern Assam and

Tripura householders and property/estate owners still do Shani-puja

OUTSIDE the premises. Even the prashad has to be consumed OUTSIDE

before re-entering the premises.

 

Particularly during the last 2 months of 2005, Mars and Saturn were

in a very difficult confrontational situation, while Ketu was in

Virgo. This obviously precipitated the crisis.

With Mars moving into Taurus shortly and Sun moving away from direct

opposition to Saturn, I also think that the situation may improve

slightly. Saturn also indicates 'Samay/Time'. Hence the vying

factions + govt authorities might settle upon a 'year/cut-off date'

to help save/salvage some of these constructions.

 

Sanjay P--> I have noticed that you have noted Virgo/Kanya for

Delhi. We were urged to consider Scorpio as the Lagna-focus for

Delhi, and I believe it was so indicated in the only local Indian

mundane textbook available at that time (mid to late 80s). Do please

confirm if this is the generally accepted premise nowadays. And what

are the currently accepted lagnas for Bombay, Bangalore, Hyderabad,

Madras(Chennai) and Calcutta?

An NRI for 15 years now, I am out of touch with these nuances,

debates and recent issues of Astrological Magazine. Do please update

me.
