As we have been dealing with Naksatras now, could please shed some light on the principle behind the naksatra-padas. Should we simply take the descriptions of the padas given in the standard texts as the facts and simply use them? Or do they stem from some more basic principles involved - from sankhya, connected with some divine personalities or things like this.
