Guest guest
|| om gurave namah || Dear prassanam, namaskar , who told you that?? the 7th day of bright half of lunar month is called sukla saptami. Some times in panchanga analysis ,where lots of parameters are used like sunya tithi calculation etc, the tithi ( saptami tithi) adjusted for palana like some tithis are considered for his presence at sunrise. thats why saptami tithi which is used for palana or take is may be in 7th or 8th day but if you acthually calculated it with using all the panchanga priciples and respective actchuall position of moon you understand it rightly. just example this year janmaastami celebrated in two days various parts of india, in that process some take the tithi at the sunrise principle and some take it for the longest time method . so you need to understand the basic principles.
