I DON'T KNOW WHETHER I AM ALLOWED TO RESPOND TO THESE REPLIES.. BUT I AM

DOING IT AS I HAVE SOME POINTS TO MAKE... MY RESPONSES ARE AS UNDER......

Here are my assignments for Lesson 1.

 

1. Role of God in my Life

 

I believe that my Soul is a small part of the Great Cosmic Energy which is

God. Along with our God we chose our life path before we enter this

physical world and we agree to come here and learn lessons - a sort of life

contract - in order to evolve our spirit and soul. I think the Horoscope

is a representation of our Life Contract. We come down as many times as we

need to until we are fully evolved and then return to the Cosmic Energy

Source. We also have a choice then to come and down and help others if we

wish. When we incarnate each time we forget our Soul Contract so that we

can fully experience and learn our life lessons. This contract or life

path cannot be changed once we are here - the choice occurs when we are in

the Spirit world. With this belief there is no place for regret or guilt

because everything is as it should be and occurs exactly on time just as

was chosen by ourselves and our God. So this can help to accept life and

to trust that there is a Divine Plan. However human nature does forget and

useless worrying sets in. This belief also helps us to accept that when

people die they have chosen to leave at that time and they are returning

" Home " to a happier place because we are Spiritual Beings having a physical

experience on this earth not Physical Beings having Spiritual experiences

on this earth. I also believe that all the Planets are live Spiritual

Beings and that all Creatures and Inanimate Objects have Spirits.

 

SARAJIT: NICE WAY OF LOOKING AT THINGS... GOOD INSIGHT TO ME.... WE ALL

INCARNATE ACCORDING TO A DEVINE PLAN WHICH IOS BOUND BY THE COSMIC LAW

(RTA). THAT IS WHY WE ARE BOUND TO GET THE RESULS OF THE KARMA WE

PERFORM... UNLESS ONE IS REALISED SOUL, HE CANNOT GET OUT OF THE BONDAGE OF

THE LAW. ONLY REALISED SOULS ARE OUT OF THE BONDAGE OF THE COSMIC LAW.. THE

LAW OF BIRTH AND DEATH.... HENCE IT IS UNADVISABLE TO PREDICT DEATH OF A

REALISED SOUL....THEY ACT WITH THEIR OWN WISH......ASTROLOGY DISCOVERS THE

ACTION OF THE COSMIC LAW ON THE INDIVIDUALS..... AS YOU MENTIONED, I ALSO

THINK THAT IN EVERY BIRTH THE SOUL UPLIFTS ITSELF SO AS TO GO CLOSER TO

BRAHMAN...... THE BIRTH OF AN INDIVIDUAL IS HENCE DETERMINED SO AS TO

CHANNALISE HIS ENERGIES TO FULFIL HIS DESIRES MAY IT BE SPIRITUAL OR

MATERIAL......

 

 

 

2. Closer to God in the Past Year.

 

I try to remember to pray every day and most importantly to THANK God for

the gifts I receive instead of just asking for help. I also try to

constantly remind myself to trust that all is as it should be and to live

in the moment and not grieve over the past. I also try to trust that my

destiny will enfold according to my Divine Plan. I also try to encourage

others to see things this way and to be hopeful. I believe when you ask

for things and say " if this is for the Ultimate Good ..... " it will not

make things happen if they are not part of the plan but it reconnects a

person with their Higher Self and their Higher Power and helps them to

accept whatever does come to them.

 

3. " All is God " is more relevant. It explains the idea that every drop of

water makes the ocean, every spark of life makes up the Cosmic Energy.

God is both the most infinitesmal things and the vast things and Everything.

 

SARAJIT: HOW YOU DEFINE " ALL " MAY MAKE DIFFERENCE TO THIS STATEMENT. IF

" ALL " ONLY INCLUDES THE TANGIBLE THINGS WHICH WE CAN THINK AND

CONCEPTUALISE, THEN THIS IS A LIMITING CONCEPT.... IT DRAWS A BOUNDARY TO

GOD... IF " ALL " INCLUDES EVERYTHING WHICH IS WITHIN OUR CONCEPTION OR

OUTSIDE OUR CONCEPTION, THEN THIS IS A EXPANSIVE CONCEPT.....

 

GOD IS BOTH MENIFESTED AND UNMENIFESTED AT THE SAME TIME.... IT IS BOTH

STATIC (PURUSHA) AND DYNAMIC (SHAKTI)

 

 

 

4. The Role of Jyotish appears to be the same as the role of a priest -

Jyotish being the Supreme Vedanga.

 

5. Sanskrit Dictionary of Terms has been started.
