Dear Muruli,

I am getting two different placement for the nodes in this chart using

two different software. Can anybody confirm the position in Gemini or Cancer

using the Lahiri Ayanamsa?

The Chart: Pisces Lagna, Jup & Sat in Taurus, Rahu & Merc in Gemini;

Sun, Moon, Mars & Venus in Cancer; ketu in Sagittarius.

The four kidnapped persons are seen in the Arudha Lagna. The AL is in Cancer

and the four planets Sun, Moon, Mars and Venus show the four kidnapped

persons. One of them is of poor health as is indicated by the debilitated

Mars (Diabetic patient). Rahu indicates the kidnapper and is presently in

Gemini (I think) in a Mercurial sign and conjoined the 7th Lord Mercury. The

7th Lord indicates the strategy of the Govt to send a Newspaper editor

(Mercury) to negotiate with the deadly murderer (Rahu). The demand of

Veerappan shall be two-fold one is Jupiter (Money) and the other thing is

Saturn (Some jail birds or some associates being released or some such

demand about a subordinate of his).

This negotiation is not going to be easy as Ketu in the tenth shows that

some mistakes will be made...costly mistakes. The intelligence agencies or

the Army (Ketu) are the real check against the Rahu (Veerappan) and the

police (Mars in debility) are of not much use out here. A lot will depend on

the Agencies. This whole thing will take a maximum of two months to be over

and the placement of Jupiter in the middle of Taurus shows that it could be

after 15 days that some concrete developments will happen (around 15

August).

The best Upaya against Rahu is given by the dictum " Kaloh Chandi

Vinayaka " . The Ista Devata of Karnataka is Chamundi Devi and all this is

happening due to Her anger. It is advisable for the family of the kidnapped

to worship her with the recitation of the mantra " OM AIM HRIM KLEEM

CHAMUNDAYAI VICHCHAI " and then the results can be miraculous.

Jupiterian sign rising shows that Veerappan does not mean very bad

(!!).he needs money for his activities.

Rahu is in Cancer until the end of the month. This is mean node position.

According to

true node he is already in Gemini. One of your softwares must be switched to

True Node

option.

Jagannatha Hora Lite is unreliable when the difference is

small. Computing Moon and nodes is particularly tough

when one relies on approximate analytical methods as

opposed to an accurate ephemeris.

 

But Jagannatha Hora that you have is pretty reliable. Due

to some MDI problems, you may see wrong charts/dasas

when two charts are open. But for that, the calculations

themselves should be reliable.

 

Using mean nodes, at 9:30 pm IST on July 30, Rahu was

already in Ge. He had already moved by 8 arc-sec after

entering Ge.

 

However, 8 arc-sec is too small. Even a small error in

ayanamsa can move Rahu to Cn. So rely on your intuition

and vaag bala rather than software in this case.

This is correct as per JH and also it makes sense to me.
