A suggestion for another point for this chart is that sani, mangala and chandra all are combust. Mangala is also on its way to be in war with sani. So the lord of house 2 and 3 are extremly weak Even the 5 and 12 lords are weak so the karakatwa of these houses can be said to be suffering. Maybe one could say that the person has bad food and drink habits, lack of stamina. Difficult to be show intelligens and having bad result of spending/investments. Such experince in an culture where alcohol is OK to dring could bring about alchoholics.

Namaste Jagmeet,

As Narayan has pointed out before the 5th house is also very important, Which made him suggest to change the lagna of the previous chart. Which is very true. 5th is after all the house of Mantra, That which protects the mind. 5th is also the house of Future. Once expectations and optimism comes from 5th house.

The affliction of 5th can cause the person to make wrong decisions(Or recite Wrong Mantra).

This chart is a clear case of one such.

The 5th lord is Mars conjoined Saturn and aspected by Rahu. The conjunction of Moon with that Saturn is also a clear indicator of some sort of mental trouble.

 

What we are actually seeing is the mental causes leading to addiction. The actually consumption is also to be noted.

 

Narayan's point in the previous chart(Senthil's Father) was the presence of Jupiter in 2nd house, Which is not indicative of consumption of tamasic food. Which I agree totally and had also thought about this before. Hence, In previous mail I suggested that Gullika & Mandi in Jupiter's Nakshatra and the current dasa being Jupiter can acutually cause consumption of Tamasic food.

 

In this case PD, you have given, Gullika is Anuradha nakshatra ruled by Saturn and Saturn is the 2nd Lord. Moreover if you want to take the Rashi Disposer of Maandi (Which is what Sanjayji teaches). Then Maandi's Rashi Lord Ketu is in Lagna, The Chart is afflicted by Kaala Sarpa Yoga. And Hence Ketu is playing an important role of bringing the Mandi to the head (Lagna).
