Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Ramesh, Rama and especially Pierre-Olivier J Bharat, et al, Okay I ‘fess up! I was following the Yoga notes to incorporate the gemstone notes……. You can all add to it if you like. Pierre, if you see the amount of books I have around my desk, you’ll understand why I’ve asked for the information from you all J. Presto, it worked like magic! The late PVNR’s lagna is in Mars’ star and Mars’ moolatrikona is the 8th lord. AL and GL lord is Jupiter. Further Mars is 7th from AL (Maranasthana) and is also in Marana in the navamsa. PVNR’s adornment of the Red Coral for Mars flouts all the rules as advised by Narada Muni. That, we should appease by offering shanti puja (Padma Purana has a string of mantras extracted from the Rig Veda for each planet that gives you grief (functional malefics) and propitiate the benefics (functional) by wearing a gemstone of that planet. Ask any experienced gemstone practitioners who have had good experiences with treating “like and like” as in Homeopathy. The graha, when appeased will become exalted. There is no need to wear a gemstone say, like the Pearl to exalt Jupiter. I am sure Bharat will agree with me on this one J (what say thou, Bharat??) The application of certain gemstones in crystal healing by a practitioner is also very different from what you are allowed to adorn. By understanding the part of Bala asura’s body (as in Kalapurusha), we can also understand the types of energies these gemstones carry. We would be looking for the association of the 4th and 5th lord or the 10th (most powerful to deliver, according to Parashara) lord’s association with the 9th as the next best (after Parivatana Yoga) from the Atri Lesson on Yogas. (Simple rule: These are moolatrikona sthanas we are talking about and not the “home” of those planets that associate, which is the weaker Yoga/Union. If any one of the moolatrikona Lord is a dusthana, treat that planet as a functional malefic.) The other tip to remember is, we do not purchase a used gemstone that has already carried the energy of that person. This is like taking an expired med! Someone asked me what they should do with a gemstone that they have no use for them any longer. The answer is simple, offer it in the collection box at the Temple. Of course, the purohit may never choose to adorn the Deity with it, but “hidden” in the Temple, you can watch how rapidly your luck/punya amplifies from all those prayers that will be offered and the residual effect of your energy from that gem that has been linked with you will also benefit! We did that for someone in Puri. Now, see why they are no keen to take on a piece of someone else’s jewellery? Of course, if that gemstone is given to you by your own diksha Guru and he has offered prayers to consecrate it especially for you; that is a very different thing altogether. That gemstone becomes a kavaca in itself. Wearing a gemstone is as portent as offering prayers to a yantra that has been consecrated in a yagna. (I am not talking about the use of a kavaca here). Excuse my rambling, it’s my AK day. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear List, Namaste In case you all read into my message wrongly, I must state that Sanjay ji mentioned that A Group of astrologers (not him, ok?) in Orissa recommended the Red Coral to the former-late PVNR and no one thought to question this! I must admit it over my head the first time you mentioned it. I went through the chart over and over and tried to justify it. Nice test, Sanjay ji!!!
