Dear Raama

4th is the house of formal learning and I think this is what you mean by

education. If you mean real learning or *Para Vidya* then it is the 5th

house or Leo (natural fifth house) which has to do with the spiritual

learning and real knowledge. The formal learning is organised by society for

the purpose of training the children for being good members of the organised

society - this is a lunar function ruled by the Moon and the sign Cancer.

Guru chandala is a bad yoga.

With best wishes and warm regards,

Sanjay Rath

Repost: Guru Chandala Yoga

Hi --

I have posted this in Sohamsa group a few datys before, but after a

bit of research on the net, I have seen that some astrologers use 5th

house, while some use 4th house for education. So, in this scenario

doesn't the guru chandala yoga affect the education of the native?

Hare Krsna --

Here is the chart (my first son) that has 5th lord guru and rahu in

8th house aspected by mars, 2nd and 6th lord. Is it a very bad guru

chandala yoga?

In the rashi chart 8th and 11th lord mercury is aspecting the 5th house.

Also, in the navamsha Rahu is in 5th house of jupiter aspected by

moon, mars and mercury. Does that still mean the native can get good

education? The native's rahu time starts when he is 12 year old.

Here are the chart details.

Which is a good book to read to understand all kinds of yogas, their

breaks, etc.
