Guest guest
Dear Gurus & Pt. Rath, Here are my answers to Lesson 11. Please correct me if I am wrong. I am still in the process of reworking my Lagna assignment. Q1: Determine the predominating Tatwa in the Lagna of your chart. I am assuming that since sun is the only planet at kendra to my lagna (Pisces) and sun is the only planet that aspects my HL, GL and BL, I have predominantly agni tattwa. Q2: What is implied by the exaltation and debility of Rahu in Taurus & Scorpio respectively? Why is Ketu not exalted for matters of Longevity? Rahu is exalted in Taurus for ayur matters. This is so because Rahu winds us in the web of materialism and Taurus lorded by Venus is a highly materialistic sign. Rahu is debilitated in Scorpio because scorpio is the natural 8th house of the zodiac, co-owned by Ketu the Moksha Karaka. Ketu is not exalted for matters of longevity, because it is a moksha karaka. Q3: What do you understand by the terms Moolatrikona and Swakhetra of each of the planets? Explain with illustrations. Mooltrikona is the place where a planet feels very comfortable and it gets the drive to express all its qualities. Swakshetra is the place where the planet feels most comfortable to relax and take things easy. For example, why both venus in swakshetra and mooltrikona might give the native aesthetic abilities (depending on other planetary positions), Venus in its mooltrikona sign will give the native a drive to express his abilities while with venus in swakshetra, the native might never express his abilities.
