Guest guest
Om Jaya Jaya Jagannatha Namamyaham Dear Sateesh & Khalsa, You are mixing up. The method of selection is as follows:- 1. Check if there are planets in Kendra's to Lagna. If so, then the specific Dasa is called TARA Dasa which is a variation of Vimsottari Dasa, but commences from the strongest planet in the Kendra. The periods are the same as Vimsottari as Tara is the wife of Jupiter who is the Guru of vimsottari dasa (16 = 10+6 or Jup = Sun+Moon). 2. If the kendras are not fully occupied, then check the stronger between the Lagna and the Moon for initiating the Vimsottari Dasa. Now in the horoscope of Sateesh, all the four Kendra are occupied. Thus rule (1) above shall apply. Among the four planets, the Moon is the strongest and shall furnish the first Dasa. Thus, his first dasa shall be of the Moon. This is Tara Dasa which is a variation of Vimsottari and is seen in the charts of Sri Ram et.al. I think S.Khalsa has understood the point correctly.
