Clarification on NarayanaDasa

Dear Shankar Shankarji,

Namaskar. The version of Brihat Parasara Hora Shastra available in the market today gives two types of Dasa i.e Chara Dasa and Trikona Dasa. Jaimini Sutra gives more details about this and explains why the dasa shall be different for the starting sign being different for the types of Chara, Sthira and Dwisbhav. These comprise the three types and Chara is only applicable for movable signs as for this it gives better results.

Clarification on NarayanaDasa

Sir,I hold both your books, viz., Vedic Astrology and Jaimini Sutras. You have referred to Narayana Dasa extensively in Timing events.I have gone through the Parasara Hora from Sagar Publications. I find Chara Dasa, as item 14 of the Dasa systems. I am not sure whether it is the dasa you referred to as Narayana Dasa. If not I want to know where to look at for details on Narayana Dasa.To me Narayana Dasa basically looks to be the Dasa of Rasis as envisanged in Chara Dasa.Kindly clarify.I may add that I am not a professional Astrologer.I am a District & Sessions Judge. I am presently on Other Duty as Secretary to Government of Andhra Pradesh, Legal Affairs, Law Department, A.P.Secretariat,Hyderabad.
