Namaste Lakshmiji,

The dasamsa lagna is on the border. Please supply some more info, on

his bachelors degree and what profession he did before switching

over to computers.

If Dasamsa Lagna is Leo, he will do really well abroad from

septermber of this year when Mercury dasa runs, the only trouble shd

be his wife's health, mrityunjaya japam shd be done for her!

Dear Narayana,

Thank- you for looking at the chart,

He has done a variety of work, but best job he had was working in

finance advice , product control and investments for a business,in

delhi, although he had to live away from family to keep it,

he worked in banking investments as well, also some sort of business

arranging telephone communication lines,,

really a variety of things,

He has taken a variety of classes to enrich his software ability,

etc.

He is a good writer and is poetic, written plays, but not

professionally but does have the talent,

His working career has been off and on, fortunetly he had landed

some well paying jobs to tide him through periods when he isnt

working,

So far wifes health is good.

He has two daughters, both now in college.

[ Hare Rama Krsna ]Dear Lakshmi,He definately has two daughters. Saptamsa Lagna is an odd sign, 5th house is ruled by Mars placed in Libra. This should be a male but for the parivartana with Venus which changes it to a female. 2nd pregnancy is 7th Lord Venus conjoined all the male planets, but again the exchange changes it to a girl.What comes to mind... 12th lord Mars ruling foreign residence is well placed in Arudha Lagna. So certainly from living abroad he is looking to improve his status, especially with the Sun there in its own sign, so he is living there to work. If we look at Dwi-saptati sama dasa (applicable as 7th lord is in 1st) we see Mars dasa running from about mid 1999, coinciding with his first arrival to the USA. However luck was not sustained as Mars is debilitated in Navamsa. The best time period financially was

during the antardasas of Mercury and Jupiter who are exalted and forming a Ubhaychari yoga. The current antardasa is of the Sun itself, so the question of immigration is again arising. As well as with Vimshottari, Mercury dasa is coming next, and the foreign indications influencing are its conjunction with Rahu in the Navamsa (Also lord of the 10th in Rasi). Being in the 2nd from AL, its job is to sustain the image as best it can, and this means supporting the Arudha.The final certainty is when you see the Narayana dasa of the 12th house about to come into effect from September. The Lord of the sign is well placed from both the sign itself and Lagna, as well as aspecting its own sign, so any time during this dasa should be good for applying. Dear Michal,

What saptamsa Lagna do you get??? I get Aries rising. In any case,

how can Mars be the 5th lord and Venus be the 7th lord??? Please

clarify!!

Thanks for pointing out the mistake - Sun is of course Lord of the 5th, and is placed with one male and one female planet, plus there is parivartana, as well as Lagna Lord being involved in a parivartana. How would we differentiate in such a situation? Hare Rama Krishna

Dear Michal,

For what its worth the mother of his children had trouble

maintaining pregnancy and as far as I know lost several pregnacies

due to miscarriage, im not sure, but i think the misscarriages came

after the birth of the 2 daughters. Afer several attempts to carry a

further child that didnt work out they decided not to try for any

more rather than risk life of mother.

She doesnt have a chart so we can't look at hers.

Dear Michal, Narayana, Lakshmi-ji,

Namaskar. Allow me to participate in your discussion. Here are my brief comments.

1. For poetic skills Navamsa Lagna as Leo with Shukra seems suitable.

2. If the native has stable career between May 2000 and Feb 2003, then Kanya lagna in the Dasamsa seems suitable. This can be verified from Vimsottari and D-10 Narayana Dasa. Vimsottari dasa running was Shani-Mangal-Budha. Shani is yogakaraka in parivartana with AL-lord Shukra in 9th from AL. Mangal is 8th and 3rd lord with Guru and can give Guru's results (4th and 7th lord) and Budha is lagnesha (5th from AL) and A5 lord. In Narayana Dasa, the running Dasa was Dhanus-Kanya-Dhanus, involving 4th and 1st house. Hence Kanya lagna is satisfactory.

3. Loss of job from January 2003 onwards: Shani Dasa - Rahu bhukti, with Rahu being the 6th lord in the 8th house with Chandra who is dispositor of karaka Budha.

4. Now, main problem is in Rasi chart. There is a very crucial feature, namely, Brahmin shaapa. Exalted Guru in the 3th house aspected by Exalted Shani and Rahu. Guru is Atmakaraka in a dusthana from Lagna and also 8th lord. This shows, very strong curse (exalted Guru is akin to a very noble brahmin giving the shaapa) caused by cheating Rahu and causing sorrow. The involvement of Atmakaraka shows that Atma is carrying the sin. Now, Guru is in Pureesaka Sashtiamsa and hence shows great need to suffer and cleanse the sin of the past birth.

Now, Rahu and Shani both are highly malefic and own 10th house. Additionally, Jupiter aspects 10th house and Mrityupada is in the same house. Hence career will be impacted directly. 8th lord's Moola Dasa deliver's the curse and Guru Moola Dasa is going to start from late 2008. The curse must be remedied in order to give any stability to career.

There is an additional curse (kalatrashaapa) Lagnesha in kendra conjoining Mangal and Surya. Mangal owns 7th house with Rahu. Hence career was a big issue during entire Rahu Moola Dasa with little relief in the Shukra antar dasa. However, this additional curse is not very important it is in kendra from Lagna and 8th lord is not involved.

5. This year August 2005-Sept 2006 Tithipravesha seems rosy as far as career is concerned. (Surya is exceedingly strong in Simha in rasi and Mesha in Navamsa and also acts as Hora Lord). Being badhaka in the the badhakasthana and Mangal being 7th lord in the 7th house, there is a chance of foreign trip. But from the natal dasas it is quite doubtful that foreign trip will solve the career issue. Budha is in neecha in Navamsa. However, Budha is given neechabhanga by Guru in Kendra. But Guru is in parivartana with Rahu and Shani is also neecha. We have seen how Shani Dasa Rahu bhukti gave loss of job. Because Guru AK is involved in the curse, unless that is mitigated, it will be difficult.

I will advise the native to stay in India and take proper remedies before the Guru Moola Dasa starts.

6. About children: Lagna in Saptamsa is Mesha. Being Male native and odd lagna rasi, 5th lord will show gender of first children. Surya is 5th lord in Vrischika. There are two influences, Rahu and Shukra. Rahu is weak in presence of Surya. Besides, Shukra is in parivartana with Ketu and is also aspected by Budha giving more female influence. The rasi is also a female rasi (even rasi). Hence first child is daughter and should have strong influence of Ketu and/or Shukra in her natal lagna. Second child is shown by 7th house. 7th lord is Shukra and in parivartana with Ketu gives female issue (Ketu in even rasi).

Yes, im concerned about Mercury in navamsa, etc as well.

I've found in a number of charts that Mercury, due to its nature

cant be counted on many times to deliver, especially if influenced

by other planets.So even though Mercury appears to be good in Rasi,

i have such doubts. I'm even concerned that his health may prevent a

lengthy stay in usa for work as well.

PLease tell me what birth time do you think is most accurate?.( I

have 2 given times for him ;03 and ;05am)

Due to the extremes of frustration and disappointments in life he

suffers from a degree of depression.

In your opinion, if he comes to USA wil he beable to make suffcient

money to make it worthwhile?

Dear Lakshmi-ji,

Namaskar. It is very important to remedy

the Brahmin-shaapa as it is strong and also can be seen in the

Dwadasamsa and Akshavedamsa. Budha Vimsottari dasa will be simultaneous

with Guru Moola Dasa and hence, the curse remedy will become very

important.

Guru is causing neecha-bhanga to Budha in Navamsa. Rahu conjoins Budha

in Navamsa and has parivartana with Guru showing that blockage to career

can come (Rahu owns 10th house in Rasi Chart).

In Jagannatha Dreshkana, Budha and Shani are in parivartana (Raja-yoga)

and Budha has graha drishti to the 11th house, hence this dasa will not

bad at all in terms of monetary position.

I am satisfied with Kanya Dasamsa Lagna using Vimshottari Dasa for the

career events given.
