Guest guest
This query is posed to the esteemed gurus. If there is a parivartana yoga between 7th and 8th house lords, the planets in exchange being mercury and venus. Then does the fact that the marana karka sthana for mercury is seventh house take into effect? What is the significance of marana karka sthana? Thanks in advance
Guest guest
Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. Om Namo Narayanaya. My understanding on this issue after reading " Jyotisha Fundamentals " by Vistiji is that Day or Night birth plays a part in mitigating the impact. Benefics are strong during the day and Malefics are strong during the night. So if a malefic (Saturn, Rahu, Mars, waning Moon and afflicted Mercury) is in a marana karaka sthana, its impact is mitigated if the birth was during the day (because it will have less strength). Similarly, benefics (Jupiter, Venus, Waxing Moon, and well associated Mercury) will be weaker for a night birth and so if they are in a marana karaka sthana, the impact is lessened. The point being, I am not sure if parivarthana or any other yoga lessens / nullifies Marana Karaka Sthana impact. I am open to correction on this as I am just an self-taught student of SJC parampara astrology. Somnath Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya. Om Namo Narayanaya. Guest guest
Somnath, Greetings. Just a small correction. If I remember correctly, Mercury is strong in twilight time.
