Does it mean that Mars will have great influence but be too > malefic? > > Vahe Mars is not only subhapati, but he is also lagna lord. He is a very important planewt for you. He has a very powerful neecha bhanga. Being lagna lord, he has a powerful raja yoga with 5th lord Jupiter too. Moreover, Mars is in moolatrikona in D-40, the chart of auspicious and inauspicious results as per Parasara. If lagna lord Mars with neecha bhanga takes part in other yogas and becomes a yogada, it shows a poor start in life and finally reaching the pinnacle of success after hard work. Somebody with so many maha yogadas would've been born with a golden spoon in mouth normally. However, lagna lord's weakness shows a poor start and progress with hard work. But you can be sure of one thing: You will follow your dharma sincerely, work hard, get recognition and prosperity for your contributions and reach the pinnacle of success and fulfilment in this life. Your lagna lord Mars is afflicted by Saturn in navamsa and D-27 (the chart of strengths and weaknesses). Affliction on lagna lord by Saturn shows having to work hard in life. May Jupiter's light shine on us, Narasimha
