I disagree and wrote the same in detail to Sanjay privately. Making political predictions is not necessary for " the cause of Jyotish " . If Sanjay is told to stop teaching Jyotish, then he can " fight " for the cause of Jyotish. If he is simply told to stop making political predictions in public, I think he should obey. He is a civil servant (a bureaucrat) and bureacracy in India is expected to be apolitical. Political astrology is often used as a material tool by politicians in India and it is not considered apolitical. If a civil servant is asked to refrain from making political predictions in public, I see nothing wrong in it. It is wise for Sanjay to follow any sermons he is given, as long as his right of believing in astrology, giving private astrological consultations, writing books and teaching astrology are not taken away. Political predictions are not necessary for the cause of Jyotish. In fact, this is a blessing in disguise. Political predictions and the resultant limelight in the corridors of power can damage an astrologer's saattwik nature... BTW, you can use the natal chart when you know the exact birthdata. There is no need to depend on prasna. Sanjay runs Virgo antardasa as per Narayana dasa of rasi chart from Feb 6 to March 6. Antardasa should be judged from Moon. Virgo is 8th from Moon. Sanjay is under Rahu's influence on several counts. It is wise to take things easy instead of being adventurous...
