Guest guest
OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH JAYA JAGANNATHA Namaste Frans, Welcome to the Gurukulam. Yes. Except Gurus, all are beginners like you. So, feel free to contribute. Other comments are below. Thanks Solai Kannan Before I attempt the question on calculating Yogada planets, I was wonderingwhy we do not use Rasi and Graha Dristi simultaneously - as was suggested inanother context by Sanjay Rath (Message 50 - Sep.8, 1999):"Both Rasi and Graha dristi are to be applied simultaneously. Rasi dristi is apermanent aspect while Graha dristi only moulds the desire of the object."I imagine that there are informed reasons why this may not apply in this case. I would appreciate learning about them. Comment:- Gurudeva Sanjay explains in this mail about considering the drishti for chart analysis. But, what we are seeing in the lesson, is the rules for the Yogada. The given rules are as it is and we follow. Bavalagna, also an important lagna. So, we cannot question, why BL is not considered for Yogada. Because, the given rules are rules. But, you can later think on these matters and research, why the sages have considered the Lagna, GL,HL and rasi drishti only. Otherthan this, Narasimha has already explained the importance of Rasi drishti in one of the today's mail. Whatever, I mentioned recently about Rasi drishti is my own opinion. So, until, it is approved by any of the Gurus, do not give importance to that. Like School final, graduate and post graduate. So, we are looking at them step by step. If a planet is not a Yogada, then definitely he cannot be a Mahayogada. But, by looking at a chart, if you notice, that a planet is having association with Lagna, HL, and GL, then you can conclude that it is a Mahayogada planet. You need not call them Yogada. Here, we are doing a lesson. So, we follow the steps. Otherwise, your understanding is perfect.
