Aum Sri Guruve Namah

Dear Gurudev!

I read your mail on the tough times and could visualise the time ahead in

terms of bringing jyotisha to its deserved place. I am not in a position of

saying anything as I am too novice to suggest anything. I hope Narasimha is

correct. I know one thing that if you are destined for a cause and you have

full faith on the almighty, the lord will guide you. These small and trivial

things should not discourage and divert your attention. Sitting at such a far

away place I am missing the moment when I can share your feeling and extent

whatever support I can. I am really feeling bad about the happenings. But if

the objective of the Jyotisha is for counselling and helping others in guiding

them to their utlimate goal and also helping others out of distress, then what

is the need of political predictions. Coming in the limelight is a maya and

comes in the material plane, it also may cause distraction and divert you from

the real purpose of life of self development and serving for the cause of

Jyotisha.

Please don't get dissapointed and have faith on Lord Jagannatha. Who knows

this happenings are for your good. Who can decipher what the wish of the

Lord!!! If you are a firm beliver on the Lord all this happening will be in

your favour in long run..

You are the better judge than anyone else.

You wrote about science and every one talks about scientific temper. Do all of

us understand what is science. Science has six underlying assumptions. They

are-

1. The Nature is Orderly

2. We can understand nature

3. All Natural Phenomenon has natural causes.

4. Nothing is self evident

5. Knowledge is derived from acquisition of experience

6. Knowledge of superior to ignorance

The objective of science is to Understand, predict and control a phenomenon.

Any discipline follow this assumptionand objective can be called as science.

I will try to elaborate on these aspects in the subsequent mails and or else

write a paper on the subject.

your Obedient shisya

Sarajit

Jaya Jagannath

Dear Narasimha,

Yes, it is arbitrary from a human view point, but not from His view

point. Prasna Marga gives a very elaborate description of the Pooja,

sankalpa etc to be done before conducting a Prasna. Nowhere else have we

been advised to do such elaborate Pooja for seeing birth charts. Why? There

must be a reason for this and it is clearly telling us that it is His wish

as to who He shall choose to do what.

People who are good at Prasna are really God gifted for this. Their

prayers are answered in the form of the " Correct Chart " or the correct

method (there are many methods to conduct the Prasna) will occur to them at

a particular time when a particular Prasna is asked.

The problem with Jyotish is that it can never be 100% scientific as

there is this Grey area in parts like Prasna, Longevity where it is HIS

prerogative.Om Tat Sat

Best Wishes

Sanjay Rath
