I have three open questions that I continue to ponder:

1. Narayan Dasa Sub-periods

2. Ashtottari Dasa v. other Dasa systems

3. Strengthening Lagna and rationalizing which Lord to select.

 

1. Narayan Dasa Sub-period

Question:a. I do not understand the evaluation process for the selection of the sub-periods e.g. the how and why for Libra's selection. Should I conclude From your data that for evaluating the start of Narayana

 

Dasa Sub-period you start the evaluation from Aires or the the 7th from it? ( for every Evaluation, not just my chart?)

b. I see that Libra's Lord Venus is placed in the 9th ( Cn). Therefore start from Cn to fill out the rest of the sub-dasa order.

 

 

2. Ashtottari Dasa v. other Dasa systems

SubjectChoosing the right ( or complementary dasa ) I.e. Vimshottri ( 120 yr) or Ashtottari ( 108 yr)Rule For Ashtottari: a. If birth is daytime in Krishna Paksha or night in Sukla Paksha b. if Rahu is in a quadrant or trine from Paka Lagna (sign occupied by Lagna Lord) c. if a +b = True, then use Ashtottari - in my chart this is true. Now the inquiry1. Using Ashtottari dasa, does Vimsottari have any merit or use once confirming that Ashtottari Dasa is the one to be used? If yes, how so? 2. Other than longevity, does Ashottari indicate anything about the individual in question ? does Vimsottari?3. Does Narayan Dasa system apply to both i.e. if one dasa system is used due to applying the correct rules given by Sage Parashara, do other dasa systems become irrelevant or less useful? If so which ones, or what are the rules to be followed? ( 108 yr)

 

3. Strengthening Lagna and rationalizing which Lord to select.

 

 

 

Goal

Strengthen Lagna by wearing the most relevant gem and strengthening the Lagna Lord.

Data

a. Lagna Lord ( Scorpio) Mangala is placed in the 12 house ( Libra) and is 8th house from AL.

b. Mangala owns 3rd and 8th in Navamsa and is placed in the 6th in Navamsa.c. Ketu , co-owner of Scorpio is placed in the 9th ( ruled by Chandra) along with Ravi, Buddha ( atmakaraka)and Shukr.

d.Ketu in Navamsa remains with Atmakarka (Budha) in the 7th therefore in Karakamsa

e. Guru, owner of the 2nd and 5th in the 6th house ( Aries) owned by Mangala gives Graha dristi to Mangala.f. Chandra in the 7th ( Taurus, and Ta is also HL ) is Moolatrikona and gives Rasi Dristi to Mangala.

 

 

Question

1. Based upon the placement of Mangala does it warrant wearing coral ( prawal)?2. Or would it make sense to wear cat's eye ( vaidurya) for Ketu?

3. Mangala , owner of Lagna and 6th, yet placed on the 12th (dusthana) gives rise Vipareeta yoga. Does this influence the decision?

4. What is the best way to think about this analysis that brings clarity?

5. Where is the best place to look for results when wearing the correct jawharat e.g. physically? based on Lagana ? or the houses it rules? or spiritually? or within the various varga charts and the placement of the graha you are trying to strengthen?
