Guest guest
Om Krishnaaya Namah Hello Everyone, Birth Data - 24 July 1982 9:22 am BST Coventry, England 52N25, 1W30 Lagna = 19º Leo or so. 1. Determine the Hora at the time of birth in your horoscope. Do the houses ruled by the Lord of the Hora have any special significance in your life? Using 6:00 AM as the starting point: a. Longitude of Standard Time Zone (GMT) = 00:00 b. Longitude of Local Time (LMT) = 1 W 30 c. Longitude difference = 1º30' d. Conversion into time difference = 1º30' i.e. 1.5º x 4 = 6 minutes e. LMT correction = Add six minutes f. Starting time for Hora's at Coventry = 06:06 AM g. Birth Time = 08.22 AM GMT h. Time difference = 08.22 - 06.06 = 2 Hours, 16 minutes i. Hora = Third on a Saturday i.e. Mars Mars is the Lord of the fourth and ninth in my Rashi chart, and this is significant. The ninth in particular has always been a house which I'm interested in, and when I first started Jyotish the ninth was what I looked at first in my chart. This factor does help add more astrological weight to my interest in spirituality and religion. The fourth, which is said to rule happiness in general is I guess significant in that way - Who doesn't want to be happy? That is something even spiritual seekers are after i.e. happiness in someting more permanent and superior. 3. Draw the chart for the swearing-in time for the President/Prime-Minister of your Nation and determine the Hora/Hora Lord. Does this have any link tothe main activity or focus of the Government during its tenure? Highlight the results and failures related to the houses ruled by the Lord of the Hora. Can you relate the success and failures to the relationship between the Lord of the tenth and the Lord of the Hora? You can use Argala, Drishti etc, to stress your points. Will try to post something tomorrow about this. 4. Will you ever write a book or teach Jyotish? If so, during which Hora should you give the Guru Mantra to your students? Does this have a linkto the Bhava or the Arudha Pada of the Bhava? The fifth has a connection to intelligence, mantra, students etc. So I should give the Guru mantra during Jupiter Hora, as He is the fifth Lord. 5. You would like to buy a new house. Which Hora would be most suitable to negotiate for the house? On which day should you step into the new house? I'd step into the house in on Tuesday in Mars Hora - The Lord of the fourth of homes and properties. I'm not sure what Hora should be used for negotiations - perhaps fifth Lord (second - speaking from the fourth - house)? 6. On which day/Hora should you look up a doctor? Sunday, Sun Hora. Sun is the Lord of Lagna - the house of health, which happens to be the eighth (Longevity) from the sixth (disease). 7. Which is the best day for you to see his Jyotish? If the Jyotish only gives appointment to people on weekends (Saturday/Sunday), then which time is most suitable? Out of Saturday and Sunday, I'd stick with Sunday as Surya Deva rules my Lagna, and is therefore auspicious for me. Of Hora's, I'm not sure. Perhaps it would depend on why I wanted to see the astrologer?? 8. You had asked for an interview and the date given is very inauspicious, say it is ruled by the Lord of the 8th house. The time also seems to be most inauspicious. What would you do? First I'd phone them up and see if I could change it. If not, I would make everything else related to the interview, e.g. leaving for the interview etc. happen at auspicious times, having offered respects to Sri Guru, Sri Ganesha, Sri Chaitanya, Sri Vishvakshena and Lord Sri Krishna, bearing in mind " mangalam bhagavan vishnu... " I would essentially just give it my best, and trust Lord Jagannatha. If I don't get the Job, there must be a reason. 9. Your spouse has asked for a divorce and has walked out of the house. You don't want to break the marriage. What would you do? Discuss the whole thing, perhaps through counselling at the appropriate time, which I think would be Saturn Hora, as Shani Deva is Lord of the Seventh in the Upa Pada.
