RATH: HOW IS THIS DHARMA KARMADHIPATI YOGA? FOR DKY THE NINTH AND TENTH LORDS HAVE TO BE INVOLVED. AT BEST THIS CAN BE INTERPRETED AS SOME FORM OF LAKSHMI YOGA AS LAGNA AND NINTH LORDS ARE INVOLVED, BUT THIS ALSO ECLIPSES THE NINTH LORD SHOWING THAT AT SOME STAGE YOU MAY RENOUNCE YOUR BIRTH DHARMA AND TAKE UP ANOTHER DHARMA. > > Among the yogas for renunciation I have Moon in a rashi of Saturn in D-3 > > and in Navamsa Moon is in a sign of Saturn and getting graha drishti of > Mars and > Saturn. JUST BECAUSE OF JUPITER IN IT? NO THIS WILL NOT WORK. I WILL GIVE ANOTHER DETAILED TUTORIAL ON THE VIMSOTTARI DASA SOON.
Guest guest
Dear Sanjay ji, Thank you for your reply, and in response, I would like to say that you are very correct about the institutions/temples as the community I am part of is spreading Sikh Dharma in the west, and has plans to build a large temple on 172 acres of rugged hills above our town, a Temple of Steel with a very large pyramid and below several underground floors in the shape of a yogi meditating in sukhasan.... only question is when.... Thank you for the information about graha/rashi drishti! I had thought a dharmkarmadipathiyog was any combination of trikona, or dharma, lord and kendra or karma--well, the kendras are not exactly karma houses--lord. Your definition of only 9th and 10th lords is definitely more precise. And, yes, during Ketu dasha my course of spiritual destiny was changed. Which brings me to your last point, and here I have some cavils because this is based on a subtle but in my humble opinion real and vital distinction which is: if one figures dasha sesham by considering whether Moon lagna or Lagna is stronger, and takes dasha sesham from the stronger, well then Chandra Lagna must be Chandra Lagna, and Moon counts as a lagna, NOT a planet. In my chart Lagna has one planet in it, Jupiter. Chandra is conjunct Ketu and so Chandra Lagna has one planet in it; one would not count Chandra as one and Ketu as a second planet. Then one does the judgement of strength according to Jaimini's second source for phalita, or first source for ayur matters. Jupiter is stronger than Ketu because of being Jupiter and having rashi drishti of Mercury. Ketu has no aspect of Jupiter, Mercury or dispositor. Taking dashas from Ascendant in this way seems closer to the events of the life. For another example take presidential candidate Al Gore's chart (sent in following post) He has two planets in lagna, and Moon conjunct Jupiter in sixth house. One could say Moon and Jupiter are two planets and then they would outweigh lagna (Jupiter in own sign is with Moon) and dashas would start from there. Then he is in Rahu/Saturn this year. Sun, karaka for presidency, only obstructs Rahu and Saturn and has no aspect or connection. On the other hand, if one says lagna with TWO planets is stronger than Chandra Lagna with ONE planet then he is in Sun/Moon at the time of election and this seems appropriate. I am very excited to hear you will be giving a tutorial on Vimshottari Dasha and look forward to it.
