Guest guest
OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH JAYA JAGANNATHA Namaste Mr.Jaan, As no one has answered your question, let me try from my side and let others correct. Your question is a very important topic. Before going into the influence of Saturn on the chart, we will analyse the need for that. 1.The doubt about the border line planets sign arise due to different ayanamsa. This drawback is there in the Jyotish now and it has to resolved. For example, when Saturn moved to Taurus, different Panchang listed different dates and Special Pooja was performed in Sani temples on different dates for the Transit of Saturn. Jyotisha know why the difference, but ordinary people are confused. Still worst is, there are two prominent Panchang in Tamilnadu, one says The Solar month started on 16th September 2000 and another one says on 17th September. So, in Vedic date itself there is confusion. 2.But, as far as we are concerned, we follow, Pt.Sanjay's teaching is to follow the Lahari ayanamsa, which is the most acceptable ayanamsa among the available ones. Now, you didn't give the degree of Saturn for this native. If as per Lahari or any other ayanamsa, Saturn is more than 1 degree in Taurus, then without any doubt Saturn's place is Taurus. The speed of Saturn varies, on an average, Saturn moves one degree in a month. So, there cannot be a variation of one month between any ayanamsa. 3.However, standardise on your software and ayanmsa and stick to whatever you get. Because, if you are altering the chart, on what basis will you alter. You have to change the ayanamsa in order to shift from one sign to another. In that case you will be using different ayanamsa. For example, in my case, as per Lahari ayanamsa and mean node, my Rahu is in Gemini with 0.46 degree and it is My Atmakaraka. Whereas, as per another ayanamsa and true node, it is in Taurus. But, I standardised at Lahari and mean nodes as per our Gurudeva teaching. 4.Another problem with the border planet is the Chara karaka. In this native, if Saturn is in Aries, then Saturn may be most probably the atmakaraka. But, if it is in Taurus, it may be the Darakaraka. Coming to the schizophrenic and mental disturbance, we need not worry about the Saturn's position in Rasi. These disturbances may be for a short while only. As you mentioned, these things happened in Rahu dasa. Rahu can influence the drugs and mental problems. We have to see the Navamsa and how the lagna is influenced by Rahu and Saturn. We have to see the position of Gulika also for the drugs. Thanks Solai kannan jaan911 [jaan911]Monday, September 18, 2000 3:46 AMvarahamihira Subject: [sri Guru] schizophrenia chart the native of this chart has saturn retrograde right on the border between aries and taurus.with saturn in aries there is only graha drishti on moon, with saturn in taurus there is rasi drishti on moon.the native is a very talented sportsman, popular with women, very intelligent and very god fearing.he has had a disrupted education, but ended up with a degree finally.his father died at a young age, and his mother is still alive, though his relationship with her is not as good as it could be.he is also suffering from schizophrenia induced by excessive drug and alcohol abuse.he has been in and out of mental institutions regularly during his rahu dasa but now seems to be able to control it better with regular medication. whenever he has a schizophrenic episode he resorts to worshiping lord Shiva whilst delusional.can anyone say what is the more likely position of saturn, given the history of mental illness and narcotics abuse?taurus or aries?i think saturn in aries being debilitated and retrograde would not allow the native to have any chance of a normal mental state or allow him to posses such a high level of intelligence, as it is the fourth lord in the sixth and would have rasi drishti on mercury. add to that saturn would have rasi drishti of rahu in aries.the query has nothing to do with ayanamsa.+----------------------+| | | SatR | || | | | || | | | || | | | || | | | ||-------------|---------------------------|-------------|| | | || | | || Rah | | || | | || | | ||-------------| R A S I |-------------|| | | Ket Mar || | | || Moo | | || | | || | | Sun MerR ||-------------|---------------------------|-------------|| | | | || | | Jup | || | Asc | | || | | Ven | || | | | |+----------------------+OM TAT SATArchive: varahamihiraInfo: varahamihira/info.html
Guest guest
Jaya Jagannath Dear Jaan, In addition to what Solai has said, please check Whether saturn has an association with the Lagna in Rasi & Amsa. You have missed one point. Rahu in the 4th and 4th Lord in the 6th is the cause of his great sorrow. What is worse, this is having a terrible impact on his mind as saturn is also the Subhapati (dispositor of the Moon) and would be in debility in the 6th house. Saturn in the 7th would have some digbala and may have removed the negative effects of Rahu in the 4th house (even if in own house). In any case we need other details about AK etc. With Best Wishes, Sanjay Rath - Solai Kannan <solai <varahamihira > Wednesday, September 20, 2000 5:09 PM RE: [sri Guru] schizophrenia chart > OHM SHRI RAGAVENDRAYA NAMAH > JAYA JAGANNATHA > > Namaste Mr.Jaan, > > As no one has answered your question, let me try from my side and let others > correct. > > Your question is a very important topic.
