From today's edition of Metro:

A team at Safar Center in Pittsburg have taken live dogs, emptied their veins of blood, filled the veins with ice-cold saline solution. They then kept them in this state for three hours, checked there was no cardiac or brain function. After three hours, the saline solution was replaced with fresh blood and electric shocks restarted the heart. The dogs were revived without brain damage and appear to be normal.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking? :)

Dear

Ramapriya,

Namaste

In case you’re

not in the know, this is how most ops are done nowadays. Put a strap round the limb

where the op needs to be done, drain out all the blood, ensue

enough supply of oxygen is there and “pump up” some when the heart

beat takes a dive.

After the op

is done, strap taken off and the blood is allowed to flow back to that part of

the body. As for no brain function, how can that happen?

A Greenpeace

propaganda?

Love,

Swee
