Hi Group,

Could you kindly suggest me a gemstone to strengthen the

Kendradhipati dosha in my chart. Is Yellow Sapphire favorable?

Date of birth - 18th April 1982, time - 6:05 PM, Place of Birth -

Bangalore.

For now I am wearing a blue sapphire on the right hand middle finger.

Thanks.

Kind Regards

Samarth

Dear Samarth,

Could let me know why would you want to strengthen a dosha even if it

is of Kendradhipati? One would normally want to overcome a dosha.

Namasthe Chandrashekarji,

Its been long having communicated with you. How have you been

doing? (The last we had conversation was at Jagannatha Puri

conference on the topic of the importance of Vimshottari dasa, though

the conference was about yogas).

I was just reading one of the blogs where in it was mentioned to

strengthen Jupiter if he is a kendra lord in order to strengthen the

door of the horoscope. Kendra = Doors.

Kind Regards

Samarth

Dear Samarth,

Namaste

Your lagna lord Mercury which is in exchange with the 8th lord is combust. Narayana Dasa and Chara Dasa are both in Sg and Sun and Mercury are in the 5th from it and 7th from Jupiter giving mishra yoga which gives mixed results. Further, Jupiter is involved in a curse from both Sun and Rahu and indirectly due to the Parivatan with Mars. The vimsottari dasa begins with badhakesh Guru and ends with Rahu period during 2021. I am surprised that you have been able to find a job in Australia during the period of badhakesh Guru. The combinations so far should not restrict you only to wearing a gemstone. Instead, by appeasing Guru who is in a movable sign is a better method. His drishti over Venus and Rahu is a bit worrying.

Love,

Swee

Namaste Sri. Chandrashekher ji,

Saadar Pranaam.

I couldn't help but notice your mail since I also have gemini lagna with jupiter in the 2nd house. So as a result, jupiter is not only bhadhaka in a movable sign but also suffers from a kendraadhipati dosha.

However, results so far have been not too disappointing for me since the start of Jupiter Mahadasa in Janurary 2006.

Are their any finer insights into jupiter's working here? Please guide

Dear Gaurav,

Remember that Parashara says that a graha's Antar dasha in its own

Mahadasha gives contra results. So, if the Mahadasha is likely to be

good the antar dasha of the same graha in that Mahadasha will be not

good/bad and vise-a-versa. That is what you are experiencing. Again you

will find that Jupiter in transit is in your 5th bhava aspecting the

lagna and the 9th so bodily and with respect to boos or father the over

all results should be good. Of course if you were studying during that

time the results would be somewhat erratic. But as you know so much

depends on the position of other grahaas and navamsha strength of

grahas that very precise interpretation without taking them into

consideration is a bit difficult.

Namaste Chandrashekar ji,

Thank you for your response. It is always a delight to learn for the learned like yourself.

So, I conclude that if Jup/Jup is going good, the rest of the MD indications are not so rosy. Jupiter is transiting my 6th bhava sir, aspecting natal jupiter and HL, besides 12h bhava and 10th bhava. Education is one of the many significations of the 2nd house, so I understand your statement about education being affected. I have a basic education anyway's, with no future plans. Jupiter will give results for other 2nd house significations, or all get affected ?

Jupiter is in saggitarius navamsa ( tarus D9 lagna), moon ( jupiter's rasi despositor) is in own house in navamsa. I enclose my details for your kind persual.

Dear Gaurav,

It appears your birth time has been rectified. Anyway, with Jupiter in

the 6th it is likely that you can get some good Job or good prospects

therein. You may even have to travel to your home, if away from it.

By the way the reason of Jupiter in 5th giving some obstacles in study

has to do with the tendency of Jupiter to harm the Bhava occupied and

5th is the bhava of higher studies. He can also give thoughts of change

of career there.

Take care,

Chandrashekhar.

Namaste Chandrashekhar ji,

Thank you for your continued response.

You are absolutely correct, as (hopefully) soon my job position will be moved to Bangkok which is closer to home.

What I wish to learn as a student from the ocean of knowledge like yourself sir is, how to judge, with a 2nd house placement of jupiter, that which significations ( of 2nd house) will get spoilt and which will flourish. Or all get negatively affected? ( keeping the theory in mind that jupiter destroys the significations of the house occupied and his aspects flourish, contra to sani, where sani maintains his house placement but weakens his aspects)

Please enlighten;

Hare Rama Krsna

Namaste Chandrashekhar ji,

I am merely attempting to learn for you, for I know enough to know that I dont know enough, yet. :)

So, please help me understand how exactly to conclude which significations will be harmed and which will survive. For example, In my case I have gemini lagna with venus in lagna as the 5th lord. During Jup/Jup, as Jupiter was transiting the 5th house, I got blessed with a daughter (5th house signification) and also secured a new job. So now, venus is placed in 12th from jupiter in natal chart, is that a fair statement? I guess what I am trying to say is that, I did not get high education but did get a daughter and a new job..all 5th house matter..how to distil or filter though is jyotish complexity.

I am sure its my own inability or even worst, ignorance why I am not able to understand, and am hopeful you will guide.

Dear Gaurav,

I am a student of astrology like everybody else, may be for some what

more number of years. In case of Jupiter it does not exactly destroy as

it harms or harms.

One must check the position of the lord of the 2nd also to find out

whether the family is going to be affected, the 5th to find out whether

the Vidya will be affected and so on. So in a nutshell one has to find

out corroborative matters that can lead us to the right conclusion as

to which area Guru is likely to harm. Guru in 2nd with Mars however

Dear Gaurav,

Look at it this way, Jupiter is in the 2nd in natal chart and could

harm your tendency to accumulate wealth or the rasi being Cancer, some

deficiency in Matru sukha. Now as it comes to the 5th bhava, in

transit, it could give you some mental tension and even a desire to

change your Job as 5th is the 12th to the 6th bhava. At the same time

its aspect on the 11th suggests some monetary gains around that time.

If any health problems existed prior to Jupiter's entry to 5th even

those may get lessened as it also aspects the Lagna. The reason for

birth of daughter has to do with Guru the Putrakaraka trining the 5th

lord Venus and operation of its dasha that time.

Take care,

Chandrashekhar.

Namaste Chandrashekhar ji,

I am merely attempting to learn for you, for I know

enough to know that I dont know enough, yet. :)

So, please help me understand how exactly to conclude which

significations will be harmed and which will survive. For example,

In my case I have gemini lagna with venus in lagna as the 5th lord.

During Jup/Jup, as Jupiter was transiting the 5th house, I got blessed

with a daughter (5th house signification) and also secured a new job.

So now, venus is placed in 12th from jupiter in natal chart, is that a

fair statement? I guess what I am trying to say is that, I did not get

high education but did get a daughter and a new job..all 5th house

matter..how to distil or filter though is jyotish complexity.

I am sure its my own inability or even worst,

ignorance why I am not able to understand, and am hopeful you will

guide.
