Dear Bipin,

I recommend Monier-Williams. It's a huge book but the best and comprehensive

among that which is easily available.

[Jaya Jagannatha] Sanskrit Dictionary

Dear Sarbani

Could you perhaps recommend a sanskrit dictionary that I could

purchase and from where. I have seen a 2 volume set with red cover a

while back in the local library, but its no longer there for me to get

the publisher's details.

I know there are electronic ones available, but there is nothing

better than paging through a book of that nature

Regards

Dear Sarbani

Namaste

Thanks for your

recommendation – I had purchased this book from India.

A note for

others reading this, make sure you buy the Sanskrit to English version as you

also get an English to Sanskrit version

Best Wishes
