Jaya JagannathaDear Bipin,Hare KrishnaI have not asked about rectification of vastu faults. Foundation first.Beside ultra violet rays, all sorts of rays emanate from the Sun. Do you know that a very charged area will kill? It's like the midday Sun. Now, what about Earth's rotation? Do not be swayed by what you read on the internet about Dhruva, because according to the Puranas, we know otherwise. In addition to this, read up the notes on Jyotish in Narada Purana concerning the terrestrial and non terrestrial motions.I guess your answer to vastu versus jyotish is that, it is non existent because Vastu is based only on the Sun and Earth, which, incidentally, you've also missed.love,Sweep/s Can you please add Martin to this list. thank you. The sun rises in the East which casts its ultra-violet rays on the East side, so the east is always a very charged area in the home.  Having said this, the East and North walls of all rooms should not be blocked.  Prana also flows in from the NE and the Earth is rotating towards East, so would this not be better suited to tune into the universal flow and face East when studying? Lord Ganesh does have directional strength in the West, and as He is the presiding deity for Jyotish, I guess the argument for studying Jyotish facing West would be reasonable, but im not convinced. The one difficulty I have with all these Vastu things is lack of scriptural references.  Im sure in time with reading the Puranas and other texts, Id be able to back my statements with authority – for now im happy to make mistakes while learning. All the Best Bipin      On Behalf OfSwee Chan11 July 2006 09:31 PM Subject: [Jaya Jagannatha] Fwd: Re: Examination - Any remedy? - BIPIN Jaya Jagannatha Dear Bipin,Hare Krishna Why would we need to bother in ascertaining the direction of the front door according to one's rasi if everyone must face East to study? I get better absorption facing West rather than the East. In the same vein, why does Ganesh face West while other deities face East? The magnetic fields flow from South to North. Hence, if you are facing East, the flow goes from your right (Sun/Pingala) to the left (Moon/Ida) which may not be suitable for some people. For studies, the flow has to be the other way around, no? After all, the left brain controls the right side of your body.  Go on, I would like to hear your logical counter arguments. love,Swee  "Bipin Prag" <bipin.prag29 June 2006 5:18:02 AM<sohamsa >RE: Re: Examination - Any remedy?sohamsa  Jaya Jaganantha Dear NrsimhaNamaste One of the simplest and effective remedies to enhance learning is for the native to study facing in an Easterly direction according to Vaastu.  We often underestimate the importance of a good night’s sleep, considering that we spend about a third of a day sleeping on average.  To ensure a restful sleep, the native should sleep with his head facing the South direction (feet in North). I hope this helps with his future studies. Best Wishes Bipin ************************************************************************************The e-mail and attachments are confidential and intended only for selected recipients. Jaya JagannathaDear Martin,NamasteWould you like to give us the answers to my question from some of his books?i.e. Jyotish in Vastulove,SweeOn 13 Jul,06, at 4:22 PM, Martin Gluckman wrote: Dear Bipin,   For scriptural references to Vaastu please meet with Dr. Ganapathy Sthapathi in Madras who has both palm leaf Sanskrit and Tamil texts and also in his various books referes to various scriptures in great detail. Also Krisha Namobudri who'se family build Guru Vayur have many scriptural references for their work. I suggest both these teachers for authentic guru-disciple Vaastu knowledge.   Namaste,   Martin Swee Chan [sweechan] 14 July 2006 04:02 Cc: Martin GluckmanRe: [Jaya Jagannatha] Re: Examination - Any remedy? - BIPIN Jaya Jagannatha Dear Bipin, Hare Krishna I have not asked about rectification of vastu faults.
