Dear Asha,

Namaste

Rare

yellow, Indicolite (Blue), Blue-Green, Greens of various shades, Red –with

no overtones of brown; Brown like hessonite, fancy browns, orange, rare white,

bi colours – red and blue, red-green, watermelons (outer red, inner

green), raspberry (looks like Rhodolite); Pink – all shades.

As soon as

we “hit” on lepidolite, we know the “material” will be

rubellites. The colour comes from chrome. Too much iron colours the green with

brownish overtone etc., etc.

What's so special about Tourmalines is that it has

all the colours. I mean

all - from colourless white to Canary Yellow to

fluorescent Turquoise,

Electric Blue, Blue Green, to Green to a Red more

beautiful than Ruby.

Bi-colours and tri-colours. Hence all planets are

represented in them.

But consider this as an uparatna.

Dear

Partha,

Namaste

You mean

the Green Tourmaline? It is for Virgo-Mercury (Earth) and in the one you have,

Mesha – Mars (magnet); hence is also good for the bones. Will activate

the 5th and 10th house – luck and profession. Also

all the kendras and arudha padas in there. Have you meditated over it?
