Guest guest
Dear Chandrashekharji, Thanks for ur mail. 1. My query was if this sloka is to be used in natal chart or on transit chart. 2. The example given by you on Saturns 3rd aspect in the 7th house is very helpful, is it due to the fact that he attainsns strength (digabala) in that 7th house. It shall be most profitable to many members of the group if you can give us the list of the planets and their dristis in specific conditions as you highlighted it in the case of Shani. 3. As to grahas when retro not giving results from previous house, yes that has been debatable from long, but can we discount what is said (not read personally) that in Bhrigu Literature retro planets gives effects of previous houses. What i do remember reading personally is in one of R.G.Raos translation of Nadi work where in he specifically uses previous house effects. Your reply would be appreciated Regards, Sunil P.S: I did contact Jitendra Chandrashekhar <sharma.chandrashekhar wrote: Dear Sunil,The reason has to do with the strength gained by retrograde planets and the especially strong aspects of the relevant planets. It is also said that the 3rd drishti of Saturn though considered generally harmful, the 3rd aspect of Saturn from the 7th to 9th is good. there are many such pointers as to which of the aspects of multiple drishti planets give what sort of results in certain specific conditions, in texts, though rarely looked at with enough seriousness by astrologers at large. This also confirms that grahas do not give results of earlier house when retrograde.Chandrashekhar.Sunil John wrote: Dear Chandrashekharji & Learned Members, A doubt Sanket Nidhi Ch 6 Shl 102. a) Jupiter when retrograde, would produce particularly the effects of the house fifth from it, b) Mars when retrograde, would specially show the effects of the house that is fourth from it. c) Venus when retrograde, would specially show the effects of the house seventh from it. Considering the above shlokas is this being referred to transit or natal chart Kindly clarify Regards, Sunil PhotosRing in the New Year with Photo Calendars. Add photos, events, holidays, whatever. Guest guest
Dear Sunil, I talked about Saturn's 3rd aspect from 7th house on the 9th house. These are to be more particularly used in natal charts. The reference to their particularly giving results is to the fact that Retrograde is 3 times stronger than a graha in direct motion, by virtue of Cheshta bala that it gets. The principle behind these is , to my mind , is simple. When Saturn aspects the 9th Bhava, in Natural (Naisargika) Horoscope (with Mesha i.e. Aries being treated as Lagna). It aspects the Mooltrikona rasi of Jupiter, that is Sagittarius. If you remember one type of Pravrajya yoga is formed when Saturn occupies the 9th Bhava and is itself unaspected or not conjunct with any graha. So not only is there a Sambandha giving understanding of Dharma, but it also stands for the 10th lord occupying a Kendra and aspecting a Trikona (in Naisargika horoscope). Look at Venus the rasi opposite its own rasi is always that of Mars. Creation takes place when Raja (Ova ruled by Mars) and Veerya (Semen ruled by Venus) come together. In Guru's case the 5th aspect is the aspect on shishya as the 5th house represents Shishya and Guru has to protect his shishya even at the cost of harm to himself. Of course this refers to duties of Guru per shastras. Not many modern day Gurus are likely to follow that. But here we are talking about basic principles of Astrology. I shall try to tell more about this some time in future. Chandrashekhar. Sunil John wrote: Dear Chandrashekharji, Thanks for ur mail. 1.
