Dear Swee,

Guru is under complete curse as all three malefics are conjoined it including Atmakaraka Rahu. Whew! If you notice, ishta devata planet is Guru. Jupiter is placed in dharmamsa. Badhakesh Surya is Bhratrkaraka. So all fingers point towards propitiating Guru. To top it all, she is born in Moola Gandanta. She has to do loads of guru mantras; if they are ekadasakashari or navakshari, they might be preferable. But I would say, definitely go for a 12 akshara ishta mantra of Jupiter...Om Namo Bhagavate Trivikramaya (as ishta mantras are the highest level of approaching a graha)...she definitely needs those 3 malefics conquered . Usually when there is a guru chandala, one has to worship the Sun, as guru does not have any power to alleviate himself under the circumstances. In this case, the curse factor is stronger. Also, Surya is the badhakesh in the 8th house. This whole combination of the curse of Jupiter is taking place in the badhakasthana and Jupiter is the 6th lord. Does she has health problems/issues?

I would also recommend the 11 akshara mantra Om Haum Sadashiva Gurave Namah. The 11th house is the house of Hara or Shiva wherein he drinks the poison.

Additionally she can do Vakratundaya Hum for that Ketu in the AL...after all he is looking at the 11th house! Do you really want to evoke the environment of the badhakesh, that too that of the 8th house?

Dear Sarbani,

Namaste

Thank you much for your inputs. I rather like the

mantra for the 11th. Is there anyway we can try and

make a definite choice? Choices, choices!! ;-))

My Guruji alsways advises that I should do only the

ONE and that should be sufficent to keep me bouyant

for a long time. But it also goes with agni hotra for

simple mantras or a yagna for an elaborate one.

I presume if it is 5 aksharas, then that would be at

least 5 lakhs, of which at 10% we offer agni hotra and

carry on with the rest and offer dakshina, annadan etc

accordingly?

The reason why I suggested that a garden be beautified

is because the badhakesh is in the 8th (firstly) and

in the sign Taurus. This is also another way of

propitiation, no?

We learnt that health issues are best seen from the Vara lord. While Tithi shows relationships. Sanjay Prabhakaran calls Tithi the Water Boy. Unless the Water Boy does not carry water, there will not be any marriage!!!
