I saw in prasna(virgo lagna) Sun was the hora lord and sun was sitting in 9th house. I understood that it was related to foriegn travel. Now sun rules birds and thus it could be air travel, and 12th house shows far off travel. But how exactly to predict space travel is not so easy. I think it has to do with Ketu also as ketu is related to losing gravity or against gravity Ofccourse in my post i used natal chart and did not tell the group that i used prasna first and then proceeded to natal chart. Unfortunately i am unable to locate the prasna chart. Members can see my analysis on birth chart in the attempt that i made to which Bipin is referring to. This is one area where we need to do some research Three things are important Planets sun, ketu, jupiter Houses 12th and 9th Strength of mars in natal chart, as Astronauts have to be strong people. To add to this thread, I tried to look for birth data of other astronauts to see what the other significators for space flight is, but was unsuccessful – does anyone have info on astronauts. I thinks its time I invested in astrodatabank - $300 is a bit much to spend now – maybe later. I haven't looked at dashas yet, but im sure the learnerd members can contribute further on this interesting chart. Well, there are a few more things to look into... functionality of the planets, etc. Speaking of which, you know, there's a curious observation in Ashtakavarga Mahanibandh. It's said that the aspects of benefic planets exalted or in own houses can only be good if their ashtakavarga score for the house in which they're situated is lesser than four, and malefic if more. Malefic, debilitated planets with a low ashtakavarga for their sited house is regarded a rajayoga, especially if the debilitation is in a quadrant. As regards the astronaut charts – what's you price. Depends on which divisional chart you want. If raw birth data is needed, multiply the current age of the cove by the age at which he first went into space, and expunge multiples of 12 to get the USD price. I accept creadit cards.
