Jaya

Jagannatha

Dear Aavesh,

Namaste

I am giving

you what I have learnt and it is a recollection from many years, so please bear

with me J

The thumb

represents Agni – Sun

Index finger –

Vayu – Saturn

Middle finger

– Akaash – Jupiter

Ring Finger –

Bhumi – Mars

Little finger

– Jala – Venus

For

meditation, connect Agni with Vayu

– simply touch the tip of the Thumb with the tip of the Index finger. The

Agni and Vayu elements

compliment one another which helps in mental

concentration and increases brain power, helps in insomnia too. The two nadis that are connected are the fontanelles

or the top part of the head. These also run through from the Big Toe (spinal

column) and the 2nd toe (cold) balancing the hot and the cold,

causing the equilibrium of the agni

(sexual organs), running through the body past the heart nadi

to the top part of the brain.

The Vayu Mudra – bend your

Index finger and bend the finger down with the base of the Thumb at the mount

of Venus – this can also help with Parkinson’s disease etc.

The question

you raised is the ring finger which is ruled by Bhumi

(Earth) – The connection of the Thumb (Fire) with the Ring finger (Earth)

is called the Bhumi Mudra

which cures weaknesses of the body and mind.

I don’t

know if this is what you are asking? But I will finish off with the Ganesh Mudra which involves the

Middle finger (Akash), the Ring Finger (Bhumi) connecting with the Thumb (Agni).

My pranapada lagna (in rasi) is in Capricorn, hence I am comfortable offering Vayu Mudra when I do my

prayers/meditation, though other mantras require other mudras

to be performed, the two main ones I use are the Vayu

and Gyana Mudras.

Love,

Swee

& Palmistry

Dear Swee & group,

Though this group is not discussing

palmistry,would like to post a

doubt regarding Mudras:

As per Mudra Vigyan the ring finger is said to

rule the Jala Tatwa

whreas in palmistry the ring finger is the finger

of the sun (which

rules Pitta)

Could someone please help me understand this pls

Thanks & regards,
