Guest guest
Dear Friends I am back. Let me recap My wife's purse consiting of Rs.12,000(300 dollars) worth money and valuables were stolen on the way to hometown. Police people numbering four were sleeping in the front berth and couldnot do anything, or may be worked with the thief to get the purse stolen. The temperature at Vizag was 42 degree centigrade with 95% humidity all the time. No respite. Went to Satyanarayan temple on saturday, did the puja amidst the high temperature and torturous queues and waiting time for darshans. Didnot have any food till 1:15 PM local time. Sunday was ok, spent time playing chess. Reached this morning without any mishap. It was one of those nightmarish trips in my life. Even though my intuition told me these things, i failed to act on time, raising questions of fate vs free will again. best wishes partha On 6/8/05, bipinprag <bipin.prag wrote: Jaya JagannathaDear Hari, Jay Sri KrishnaWelcome to the forum and look forward to your contibutions. Guest guest
Dear Partha, I feel for you. Truly do. Try hard not to let money gain any more prominence in your life than it should. A dollar's worth is a hundred cents, nothing more or less. A human's value is incalculable, though. It's just our karma that we're living in a yuga where the value of everything is generally on the rise, while human values are generally on the decline. Convince yourself that it's good fortune that you and your wife returned unscathed, and you likely will find solace. Intuition isn't always trustworthy if it relates to something that you're too close to be objective. My wife and sons are due to fly out to India in three days' time and I've had my share of uneasy forebodings myself, but I'm not sure I can accept them to be intuition but more a general wish-well response, though what you felt could be entirely different. Guest guest
Dear Rama True. I did not give a damn to money for all these years of my life. Now that i am married and pathetic work environment with a pay that is equivalent of a government clerk... it is hard time. I mean i lost money which was 150% more than my monthly salary. Looks like venus is getting a stranglehold of my neck and i am getting trapped again in this life just like many lifetimes. One of my friends is in hospital since two months, he introduced me to many of his friends for whom i made career and marriage predictions. . Now see not even a single of those friends are at his bedside. I am his only ally left. They turn up only when they need predictions. And to begin with the poor chap was never my friend, just an aquaintance. A month back he was complaining about another common friend(taurus lagna, venus the lagna lord in 6th) who has not seen him after marriage. Infact i made predictions for this taurus lagna chap. Today the first mail i see is that of this taurus lagna guy. He asks me predictions for his wife, brother , mother, bro-in law. And in the end asks me forgiveness for his selfishness. See, i was thinking about this guy all the time when i was in vizag. Would you call this intuition? When i boarded the train, i had a strong sense that my purse would be stolen. Infact it was not my purse, rather the wife's purse. ketu(thief) is more powerful than guru(awareness) i guess. I am also running Rahu-ketu as per vimshottari. This is the bloody nonsense(money matters) that i have to undergo day in and day out. Sometimes i feel that Earth is the worst place in the universe with so many selfish blokes inhabiting seeking money all the time. I am sorry if i had offended any non-selfish, non money seeking chaps here. Best wishes partha On 6/13/05, Ramapriya D <ayirpamar wrote: Dear Partha, I feel for you. Truly do. Guest guest
Dear Sarbani yes Ketu in UL, but i think she is my second UL, See i have jupiter and ketu in UL2 and my wife has Jupiter and ketu right there on lagna. Incidentally i lost 800 rupees +driving license and host of other things on May 8th 2001, i got back everything except money on June 8th. Then within one month i landed here at hyderabad. On May 8th 2003, i was made guru. On june 8th 2005, i lost 1700 rupees(8 again) and then two gold items. 8 is quite significant for me. I charge customers all the time. You can follow my method if you want to maximize your returns. It's called the RD Rule: Step 1: When a customer is comfortably seated and doesn't have anything in his mouth that can accidentally be spewed at you, tell him, "My charges are $75 for a reading". Step 2: Watch closely for his body language, especially a growing paleness in his face. If it pales, tell him, "The charges are negotiable, of course". Take it thereon, but you'll have at least set yourself a decent starting pedestal. If no pallor results, Step 3. Step 3: Tell him, "While most things can of course be grossly read from the rasi itself, to really fine-tune the reading, I suggest you have your divisional charts examined too". Watch for annoyance, pallor or enthusiasm. If annoyance or pallor, proceed to the chart; you've enough room already to wriggle out of a poor reading. If the cove appears convinced by your spiel, say, "I charge $25 for divisional charts". If no pallor, Go to Step 4. Step 4: Confidently say, "Each". Repeat the latter part of Step 3 J Respects, Ramapriya ayirpamar
Guest guest
Dear Sarb, Not everyday that I disagree with sweet ladies whose names begin with an S, but I must this time J I tend to do my own little bits of research with various things astro when the bug bites me, and one of my earliest ones I remember is this kantaka sani facet. I've actually seen that Saturn is a nuisance when it transits the 8 th from the ND rasi that a native is running. I've observed this only for D-1, of course, and I'll probably log all results for someone to publish some day (if I live long enough for that J). Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Partha, Namaste Please sit and read my story J I had a traumatic time on Saturday at an obligatory social function when I met my old friend Patricia. In May 2004, when I met her, I asked to see her daughter. When Sharon finally turned up at my house 3 weeks later, the sense of foreboding was so overwhelming I had to insist on her leaving the country even though her children was coming home from their school break during that week in August. Sharon was physically abused by her husband and she stayed on with her husband for the sake of her kids. When Sharon walked out of my house, I knew that would be the last time I would ever see her alive………. On the 5th of August 2004, I received a phone call from her cousin asking me if I could locate Sharon who had been missing since the day before. Her husband had kept quiet about her non presence and even attended a birthday party on the Wednesday night! I had to direct her to several places where Sharon had been. The name for the 1st place began with Va. Vonga Valley is where she had been going, selling land on behalf of her employer. I told them the car will be found the next morning at a place called Ba. Her yellow double cab was found at Barn Motel, riddled with bullets at around 9:30 am (as told by me). The next thing is to find her………..a place called Pa. Kathy (her cousin) called me up again…. (This is when clairaudience had to play a big part.) Over 500 people are now at an abandoned quarry with another psychic (from England). Brenda (the psychic also spoke to me). I told them that they are in the wrong place. Brenda insisted they all stayed on while Kathy went ahead and drove further eastward where I told here there is a Church on top of a hill. Kathy’s worker told here that there are no Churches anywhere in the vicinity I had told her to look, so instead of turning right, she turned left and went the dirt track towards a hill. I told her to turn back and almost 1.5 km where she’d passed, there are 3 huts. Sure enough, she found a mosque there, but the priest is not to return until 15:30 or so. What next, Kathy asked. “Knock on the green door and enquire with the gentleman”. The enquiry took her back to the main road where she spoke to some ladies pounding maize for their staple. They confirmed the juvenile who fitted my description ran off in the direction to an area called Palimbana (the right side of the road). “I told her to gather all the help she could and that Sharon’s mother-in-law with the help of an old man living in the area, will find Sharon who had been dragged off the road near a culvert. Sharon’s body will be sprawled on a patch of land where new grass is just sprouting through. The earth will be reddish and the landmark is a particularly big tree amongst the acacias (thorny trees). That a white “taxi” with a University student and an ex army/policeman are involved. They had been back to the area to check on Sharon’s body.” 17:20 they found Sharon’s body all as described. On the hill top is a monastery/nunnery. The same day in the early afternoon on Friday, Sharon’s children arrived and Sharon never got to see her children again. End of a 3 day headache followed, and Krishna has once again reminded me that He is the one in the end who can decide how one should live out one’s karma. I have tried on several occasions to thwart a foreboding event even to people I do not know………thanks to Lakshmi’s intervention (a psychic medium who initiated me), I now can control those negative flashes. Partha, I am sending you the Prsna chart I drew up at the time Kathy called me. On the 4th November, the “flying squad” of the (special) police criminal dept. issued a statement that they have found the culprits……….a juvenile, an UNZA (local university) and the son of the Police General to the current President of Zed. The question is who instructed it and paid them to do the job? Hint: D-3 Love, Swee On Behalf Of Partha Sarathy Monday, June 13, 2005 7:00 AM Re: [Jaya Jagannatha] Satya Narayana temple visit-back Dear Rama True. The temperature at Vizag was 42 degree centigrade with 95% humidity all the time. No respite. Went to Satyanarayan temple on saturday, did the puja amidst the high temperature and torturous queues and waiting time for darshans. Didnot have any food till 1:15 PM local time. Guest guest
Dear Sarbani, What I meant to say was that I've largely found that sani becomes more of a kantaka when transiting the eighth from the Narayana Dasa rasi than from the natal lagna; like I said, I'll need more of specimen and a more structured catalog of data ere I conclude some way. Incidentally, I'll run my Aries rasi dasa until Saturn quits Cancer. My AL, UL and A7 are all in Aries. With Rahu's argala and Saturn's powerful graha drishti on Aries, I expect wholesome turbulence and upheavals at home (probably my domestic life), especially until Rahu moves into Aquarius. Agree? Guest guest
Shri Brahmadaru Smarami, Dear Ramapriya, It is subjective. Shani is kantaka 8th from lagna, Moon, AL and yes from your ND dasha rashi. It is ardha kantaka when 4th or 10th from lagna, Moon, AL. Now, which of these will blast you, depends on other factors in your chart and other transits as well. I have seen many cases where people have been professionally ruined with saturn's transit 8th form the Moon. But we cannot take the transit in isolation. Other factors have to be keyed in. Guest guest
Dear Sarbani, There's also the small matter of how the lagna lord, AL lord and Moon are placed, vis-a-vis Saturn. If they're all placed such that their temporary friendship yields either friendship or neutrality, I'd imagine the headaches would be a lot lesser than if they were enemies. Don't know why most people ignore the temporary friendship bit altogether... Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Sarbani, Namaste When Shani transited in Sagittarius at 18 degrees to my natal Venus, I lost my fortune. My natal chart with A3 and aspects shows it. But it was during my AK Moon period. No sooner had I lost it to my younger sibling, I had the best RY as soon as Shani went into the 9th of badhasthana. Using dwisaptati sama dasa, Shani mahadasa began when I had the best RY. Using this Dasa doesn’t make sense with Retro Shani and Lagna lord in parivatana though and Mars is lord of A9 and A3.
