Namaste Learned,

Just to be clear, my reference to the natural 8th in the previous mail was indicative of it being the "phalam" or end of marriage(12th from 9th or end of dharama also 2nd from 7th). With this, 8th lord in natural zodiac is mangal.

Dear Sir,

Others will likely hold a different view, but I'd deem 7th as the house of se*, which is 11th from 9th and having an argala on it, naturally.

I'm not so sure I'd automatically reckon Mars adharmic either, as you put it. Mars is a warrior, similar to Hanuman and thus the proclivity for se*ual abstinence. Mars is like fever to the body; a good friend when within bounds, but with the potential to get so intense within its own focus that he can ruin you too in the process. Take a tiff as an example. Mars will do what it takes to win you the battle, but you might get maimed or slain too, in the process...

Take all this with a pinch of salt, k? Wait a wee longer and the gurus here will tell you the core of the matter.

Respects,

Ramapriya

Namaste learned,

I wish you ask an astrological question on a philosophical note.

Marriage is an act of dharma. Sun represents dharma (as Shiva ;probably that's why its not a malefic for marriage and also mars in leo is considered nullification for kujadosha). 8th natural is scorpio(raw sex) which is 12th from 9th(dharma). Mars is adharama and is frequently the cause of breaking of purity of marriage (just like the bastard child budh).

Given all this , why does and how does Mars indicate brahmacharya when it is the reason sexual activities occur ?

Please show me the right path;

Namaste

Dear Gaurav

Following on your thread, it would be

reasonable to assume that Extramarital Affairs is seen from the 2nd house,

being 8th from the 7th

and Mars as natural ruler of 8th

aspects the 2nd

Namaste Bipin,

The learned and you know much more than me, but my developing mind says that to look at Extra-marital affairs of ones' spouse you look at the 5th from the 7th which is 11th house. Similarly look towards the 5th house to see ones' own such affairs.

Since 5th house is the house of love, affection, emotions, such affairs are judged from 5th house. As a result the house of children is also the 5th house.

You raise a very interesting point about mangals' aspects. Notice how the 4th house aspect of mangal from its natural eighth lends itself at the 11th house ! :)

Having said that, we are blessed to have the learned with us to guide our understanding.

:)

Namaskar Partha Ji,

I am not sure if I understand. Are we saying that because mars causes disturbance in marriage to maybe denying the native one in theory and therefore the forced celibacy?

Perhaps because of mars' exsessive sexual (natural 8th house significations) attitude towards marriage as oppose to it being an act of dharma?

Please guide my understanding;

Dear Gaurav

A functional benefic mars means that the person may not marry or

doensot have sex to keep celibacy. Whereas functional malefic shows due

to some misunderstanding or fights he doesnot have sex with his partner

and is thus forced to have celibacy. Since quite a few people cannot be

celibate, they turn to extra marital affairs. The message is to be

celibate to save the energy for good purposes(yoga, mantra etc). But

contrary happens.
