Didn't know you were with me in the gender-nebulous ark too, Swee

J

Kanupriya (an astrologer) once told me that someone inquired her sexual category, and when wondered where the confusion was from despite an obvious name, the chap said, "Well, I learnt recently that Ramapriya is male, so wondered whether you were too"

J

For self-explanatory titles, the Sudanese deserve a mention. It is as easy to find a Dr. Gene Poole, as it is for an Engineer Constance Noring

Dear Ramapriya,

Many in SJC write to me as Mr. Sarbani, and most of them are Indians. Visti once pointed out to me that it was a problem with my Mercury. Apparently when I speak fast, I too make a mix-up between gender and address a woman as 'he' and a man as 'she'. Till he pointed this out, I never noticed this! Of course Mercury is AK and badhakesh...but why the mix-up with gender?

Best regards,

Sarbani

Hi Sarbani,

The gender-confusion predilection should logically stem from an association of the 2nd and 8th lords

J

And since you mentioned the name, I remember throwing up on Ramadas' shirt when he'd come visiting me and at about the time he talked of Mr. Larsen in female terms

J

Take it easy,

Oh Richa,

Your remedy is worse than the problem that there was :\

Guruji wasn't wrong, because Swee is a guru anyway. It was the 'Sir' that was the nettle, if you know what I mean :)

Cheers,

Hi Richa,

I don't know how you want to address others but for me, please cut the ji crap, thanks. Names have always worked fine for me. Better respect people from the inside than servile addresses with smouldering insides. Opinions, anyone?

Cheers,

PS: If someone wants to call me Sir, I'll reconsider
