Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Ramapriya, Enough of this vascillation my dear. Don't let the vagaries of Mercury trouble you. Your lagna is SIMHA with navamsa in Dhanus. Birth by forceps or mechanical instruments is normally indicated by the nodes. Normally Mars troubling the nodes confirms birth by Caesarian section. If Saturn troubles the nodes the child may not survive at birth (Saturn indicates dead child) unless the mrityunjaya bija of Venus also blesses the child. So you have Sat+Ket+Ven confirming your birth. I too have this and for too long argued against it and thought my navamsa was the more romantic Libra. Fact is that I had a tough forceps delivery and my head got elongated and had to be patted back to shape by the kind lady doctor. Thereafter my grandfather got into action and made a pillow of sesamum seeds offered to Lord Shiva. I had to use this pillow as a baby for many months and - Thank God it worked - thats my head you know!! Dear Swee, Just to add a point that might be of relevance here, mine was the first birth by Caesarean section in my hometown, so there could well have been confusion on when exactly the birth occurred. I think the PP point you made is very revealing, and is quite conclusive. I thank you for your effort and time on the rectification. So I have stayed on with this. The impish personality that we all perceive of Ramapriya will be lost with AL in Sagittarius with Virgo ascendant. That is the very rule before we even consider the Pranapada Lagna. With Leo Lagna, his AL goes to Aries. To refine his PP to a Kendra/trines, the time has to be adjusted further to 10:47. One thing I have also noticed: It is also quite normal in a household with several having the same Lagnas. In our family of 6, the 4 of us have the same Taurus Lagna (add another for my father). Yet our lives are so varied J I have also spoken to several astrologers and they also concur… and to add to the spice, Ramapriya's boys are both Leo lagna J Love, Swee On Behalf Of Sarbani SarkarSunday, May 15, 2005 5:36 AM Subject: RE: [Jaya Jagannatha] Elementary doubts... Shri Krishna Sharanam Mama, Dear Rama, Using the navamsa trines method (which is one among many to see natural abilities), I prefer Mercury in trines, that is Dhanu navamsa lagna. But I would gun for Kanya rashi lagna. Therein lies the catch. Just proves more and more that 'wrecktification' is a tedious and time consuming exercise, involving checking and re-checking across the vargas and not something that to be done in a couple of seconds or so. I've used 10.52 am ever since the wrecktification J And what's with your laptop? Seems to crash more often than Jenson Button J Cheers, Ramapriya ayirpamar On 5/14/05, Sarbani Sarkar < sarbanisarkar wrote: Dear Swee and Ramapriya, Thanks for the quote. Yes, there are multiple ways of seeing these abilities. Ramapriya, I have changed your BT to move the navamsa lagna to Dhanu, with which I get Saturn, Ketu and Mercury in the trines of Navamsa lagna. But with this your rashi lagna is changing form kanya to simha? What BT are you using? And what is current lagna you are adhering to? (when I did your chart earlier last month it was in my laptop. Al the data is there. Since then my laptop has crashed. So you will have to give me your data again.) Best regards, Sarbani
Guest guest
Dear Sanjay, Thanks for your time on my chart; much appreciated. I recently noticed that this rasi-border hugging tendency of the lagna is almost allelic. My father's and brother's lagnas are both 0-something Virgo. You know mine. My younger son's is a lot more perilous, 0-something in gandanta in Leo (plus lagna aspected by Saturn and Mars, with lagna lord in marana avastha conjunct a Jupiter, which is in gandanta!). And I don't know if it's a coincidence that my father's children (bro and me) and their children are all Caesareans.
