Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Members, Would any of you have a copy of the Sri Isopanisad in transliterated format? I am listening a most beautiful rendition from the Goddess of Fortune CD. Thanks. Love, Swee

Guest guest
Swee, I know what you mean by the bracket J but thought I'd take this chance to answer what many people write me privately about, apart from the general curiosity about my gender. Regardless of my gender or conduct, Ramapriya does not mean either Sita or Hanuman. There's a temple hamlet in Karnataka called Melkote, a place of prominence for Srivaishnavas like me. The presiding deity of the temple is Tirunarayana, while the processional image of Vishnu is Sampatkumara. Legend has it this image of Vishnu was held in worship by Brahma. It is believed that the festival image Sampatkumara was worshipped by Rama and his son Kusha; hence the name Ramapriya. It is believed that Krishna installed this image here at Melkote. So before you pile on to me the next time, pause and consider J Cheers, Ramapriya ayirpamar
