Guest guest
Hi Swee, One final hurrah, and that too because it's yours J First up, this looks more a muhurtha chart of the signing than a prasna chart. If I'm not wrong (unlikely), a prasna is a querist's query to an astrologer, so I'm not so sure of the validity of a prasna flung on a flock. I use Raman ayanamsa, altitude of 1270 m and coordinates of 28-17E, 15-25S (http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/appendix/appendix-f-l.html ). 1. Virgo rises, with yogakaraka Venus direly placed, notwithstanding that it's in Bharani. 2. The lagna lord is debilitated and is in parivartana with a strong badhaka, with both afflicted by nodes. The parivartana is cute, with placements in navamsa at 10 th from their rasi positions. 3. If business partners are seen from the 7th, the presence of the 6th lord there, in ghora shashtyamsa and plumbing the gandanta depths, doesn't bode well. 4. I see litigation involving a corrupt but influential government department, especially with Mars in 6 th and rasi-aspected by an exalted Sun. Government agencies, possibly customs, may be quite a nag. 5. There's nothing I quite prefer not to have as much as the kemadruma yoga, with Moon wandering unaided. Here, it's the 11 th lord, significating friends and treasures among other things, and is debilitated in a poisonous shashtyamsa. Oh, and aspected by the respectful 6th lord Rahu K 6. Navamsa lagna lord aspects the rasi lagna lord in both rasi and navamsa, which is good. 7. Saturn saves the day, with its neat placement in the rasi, and I'm sure your son could wear a blue sapphire now with success, since yogakaraka Saturn is in 10 th (I regard Saturn a benefic for Virgo natives when Rahu prevails over Aquarius). 8. The things I dislike most about this chart is the influence of the 6th lord Rahu over the 11 th house, 11th lord and A11. Best be wary of losses due to associates, and the involvement of the 9th and a strong 12th lord doesn't much help either. 9. The sarpa yoga might add a touch of violence somewhere along the road too. 10. If I were Sundar, I'd be alert to some possible losses too involving securities and pledges; the 9 th house has SL in vamsha-kshaya (generation-waning) shashtyamsa. Now to your Q. Since navamsa lagna is aspected by a strong Jupiter (a couple of malefics aspect it too, I know), and since navamsa lagna lord is conjunct Jupiter, despite some tiffs and litigations (6 th lord in navamsa lagna), you son will emerge standing. Expect copious grain trade, with even more staggering price fluctuations! Just kidding, Swee. All this is spin. Enough of astro anyways J Cheers, Ramapriya ayirpamar On 4/29/05, Swee Chan <swee wrote: Dear List, I am attaching a prsna chart on the signing of a contract yesterday between my son and organization " bodies " . Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear List, Namaste Some of us may know that which houses denote the past, present and future. For those who are new to Prsna, I am giving a recapitulation here: Planets in the Ascendant, 4th, 7th and 10th denote the present. Planets in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12 denote the past. Planets in the 5th, 6th, 7th 8th denote the future. The accumulated predictions can also be seen with a planet in the 2nd house. The query on the attached Prsna in the previous mail is related to the future. The following houses apply: 6th with Mars the 8th lord (VRY) 7th with Mercury in exchange with ascendant lord + Rahu (imports) 8th with Sun in exalted sign and Venus, the 2nd lord. Each of the planets have their own determination of time: Sun - 1 Ayana (6 months) Mars - 1 day Mercury - 1 Ritu (2 months) Jupiter - 1 year Venus - 15 days Total - 1 year 8 months and 16 days Before I left town, I was asked when one can time a successful nisheka using a prsna. The karaka is given to Venus (for male) and Mars (for female). At the time of prasna, note that if the ascending sign is a Movable, Fixed or Dual sign. Note the planets in the houses denoting the future. Planets that are posited in rasis that rise with their hind will give the foremost results and planets in rasis that rise with their heads will give the last results, while an Ubhayodaya rasi will give results during the middle portion. Venus (for male) is in strength in the middle drekkana, which are from 10º00 - 20º00 and Mars (female) is in strength in the 1st Drekkana. A Movable rasi’s counting begins from Aries to that planet’s Navamsa position (equates to months) while for a Dual sign (years), we count from the planet’s Navamsa position to Pisces. The Remainder for a Fixed sign equates to years. The time of query gave a Fixed lagna. This indicates that results will be got in a short time. The rising sign was Leo and Mars is in Scorpio lagnamsa, also a Fixed sign. Mars denotes 1 day. Scorpio = 8th sign x 4 (For Fixed, multiply the karaka in navamsa rasi x 4; For Movable sign, no multiplication is necessary; For Dual sign, multiply by 3). On the 32nd day from the time of query, the nisheka will come to fruition. He monthly course had just begun, so this if the timing can be done for her to have a son during her EVEN days; that is from the 10th, 12th or 14th day after the menses. He husband’s chart has all indications to have a child and he is also in his Scorpio Narayana Dasa. Additionally, I was told that the lady is wearing a diamond ring. According to the shastras, a lady wishing for a child should not wear a diamond. I am sorry, but I cannot share the charts with you. There are umpteen ways of timings from a prasna-navamsa chart, it would be good to share. There are also ways of looking at the karaka from the navamsa and count the number of places from it to its exaltation, own or friendly signs. That one most likely to fructify is when it is in trines to its navamsa position. Perhaps Raman Suprajarama would be kind enough to find some time to help us here J. Guest guest
Dear Swee, I thought pranaparas, apoklimas etc. have a role here. Now here you are mentioning 7H & 10H have two indications each - 7H for both present & future anf 10H for both present & past. Is it right or a typo? love jk - Swee Chan Monday, May 02, 2005 10:17 PM RE: [Jaya Jagannatha] Signing a Contract Prsna Jaya Jagannatha Dear List, Namaste Some of us may know that which houses denote the past, present and future.
