Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Capetonians and Bipin!! Look who was here in Zambia last weekend J @ Victoria Falls, one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the world!! Swee, Bryan, Hugh Masekela, Hitesh, Chris after the concert. Probably my last chance to visit the Royal Livingstone & sister Hotel before Arnold Schwarzenegger takes over. Heavenly: Behind is the beginning of the 1,708 m wide Victoria Falls with an average of 550,000 cubic metres of water plummet over the gorge every minute! The sound that thunders and the sheer force of the water can be rather pacifying……….almost a purifying feel to the “shower.” I went back to my old haunt which is about 400 meters before the Falls and found my collection of chalcedony (agates), a stash still left untouched J On my arrival, I had a bunch of bananas. The largest Vervet monkey I have ever seen took off with the bunch. On the Saturday and Sunday, I read Hanuman Caritam and feed the monkeys (to pacify Mars). Bipin, I shall write out the mantras for you if you can get your hands on his birth data L yep, I forgot to ask him L Love, Swee p/s I’m leaving town on Friday until Monday night and will try and find time to type out the mantras. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Swee Hare Krishan Im glad you met up with one of Africa's great Music Legends. He has a special style to his music. Vic Falls is one of the places id like to visit in the future - I have always been drawn to that place. I had booked twice before to visit there, but had to cancel both times due to unforseen circumstances. Im very much drawn to water and can imagine sitting here, the breathtaking sound of the water rushing at a great force, once again reminding us of Nature's beauty and the Divine. Im not sure who's birth data you were referring to - I asked a general question re the chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa, unless ive got it wrong Regards Bipin , " Swee Chan " <swee@c...> wrote: > Jaya Jagannatha > > Dear Capetonians and Bipin!! > > Look who was here in Zambia last weekend :-) @ Victoria Falls, one of the 7 > Natural Wonders of the world!! > > > > Swee, Bryan, Hugh Masekela, Hitesh, Chris after the concert. > Probably my last chance to visit the Royal Livingstone & sister Hotel before > Arnold Schwarzenegger takes over. > > > > > Heavenly: Behind is the beginning of the 1,708 m wide Victoria Falls with an > average of 550,000 cubic metres of water plummet over the gorge every > minute! You look gr8, Swee, much like one of those things they bring out for sale shortly before summer The angle of the pic isn't quite right for the time of day you were snapped... but then you were with a bunch of bananas, isn't it? I went back to my old haunt which is about 400 meters before the Falls and found my collection of chalcedony (agates), a stash still left untouched J On my arrival, I had a bunch of bananas. The largest Vervet monkey I have ever seen took off with the bunch. So the pic was taken before, then? But on a serious note, what's jazz? No, really! dolt
