Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Marcus, You will enjoy this one J I sent it to the list earlier, but it did not come through. .. Love, Swee www..org/learning Swee Chan [swee] Monday, April 11, 2005 12:41 PM Cosmic Mirror Jaya Jagannatha Dear Members, It is always interesting to look at a chart and initially decide the cosmic mirror of the person’s psyche. I am currently teaching 2 students here who are only interested in the psychological make up of the person. Saffiye is a Psychologist and Rob is an author who writes books on Voodoo J. Many a time, we are told that the jyotish requires intuition. What constitutes Intuition? Intuition is when a person has a predominantly watery nature. This person will have this natural disposition. The Watery signs are Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. People who have predominant Watery Nature with planets in them will relate and respond to people and situations chiefly through the faculty of feeling. Their emphasis comes with a knack of intuitiveness with sympathy and compassion. The crux is that we need to look for that sign/planet that can ground the person. If Jupiter aspects the watery sign, he nature is to teach and to help the person go within their own inner depths to search for the truth. If Saturn aspects these watery signs but not on the Moon, their compassion are geared more towards those less fortunate, hoping to alleviate their sufferings by assuming a part of it themselves. If Rahu aspects any of these watery signs and not upon Moon, it gives the ability of clairaudience, etc. We can read the other planets accordingly. Let’s look at the following chart to give a better picture on intuition. I am presenting the chart in 2 formats for both Western Astrologers and Jyotishas. The ascendant is a Watery Sign with its own Lord, Jupiter in it. Sun shows the REAL Cosmic Mirror of the persona of past, present and future. The native has the nature of transmuting knowledge. The house of the occult is ruled by Venus and it is also in a watery sign. We can conclude that the person has strong Water Elements and the grounding planet comes from Earthy Mercury in a Fire Sign. This gives a restless nature whose love of exciting experiences and situations are often very impulsive. The predominant Watery Nature can work up steam with the ability to tune in with direct expressions of his inner feelings to others in an overt and warm manner. Jupiter and its trinal aspects on Sun and Venus gives his healing influence on others. The combinations of planets in Watery Signs gives the person considerable intuition. It also makes the person creative and perhaps his creative instincts are best suited to writing where he can motivate others. The Lagna Lord in a watery sign with the aspects to the 5th also indicates that he is well suited to work with others where he can experience inspiration, but frustrations and problems come together hand in hand. In my next mail, I shall present a chart that indicates clairaudience. Love, Swee www..org/learning
Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Namasthe Sweeji, " Cosmic Mirror " - A very nice Topic/Phrase/Caption. It reminded of one universal concept - The Paramatma is the Cosmic Mirror & the Jeevatma the image in the Cosmic Mirror. While the Cosmic Mirror is Real , the Jeevatma i.e Image on the Cosmic mirror only appears real but isnt real in reality/Illusion. In many texts of Lord Dakshinamurthy/Lord Shiva , His teachings on the relationship between Pancha Mahabhootas & the Occult powers -) Regarding Akasha Mahabhoota i.e Ether , he says -) If one Concentrates on the Akasha Beeja Mantra i.e " Hum " as lite with bright white light & in Vacume/ether , One gains the power to see past, Present & Future. For other mahabhoota he states power of attraction, wealth etc.. Regards Samarth. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Samarth, Please give us some references with regard to Lord Dakshinamurthy. I came across his name in Puri and yet again this weekend when I was going through Narada Purana J. Can you please indicate which energy (form) “Hum” (Hoom) versus “Ham” (Hum; as in humming a tune). Consider Akasha Mahabhoota as past of HIS universe. There are 7 of these mentioned in Bhagvata Purana, but each one of these require a different rasa/tatwa to activate. Like all things, a balance is required. The Jeevatma is always real. From life after life after life, it never changes. It changes only according to our deeds in each vesha we take on. Can you please give us the detailed referencing – (with gratitude)? From the texts in Bhagarvata Purana in the Shristi, my understanding is this: From Atma comes Akash, then Vayu, Agni, Jala and lastly, Prithvi. The different planes are made out of these 5 elements. Yoga is of twin fork differentiated by Brahman and Holy Rites. The Holy Rites are the part of us which cannot be accomplished without the path of knowledge. In the manifestation of his speck, these 5 elements are seen in the zodiac, his Sudarshan Cakra. Beginning with Aries where Sun exalts, is the beginning of creation. Each subsequent Kendra to each respective element beginning with Agni is Jala etc. Each of the planets beginning with Moon that merges in perfect harmony with its elements is conceived thus: Moon – Jala exalts in Prithvi; Mars – Agni exalts in Prithvi; Mercury – Prithvi in Prithvi Jupiter – Akash in Jala and so on. Thereby, what is the manifested in friendships of grahas, Atma merges into Akash (Sun-Jupiter), Akash into Vayu; Vayu merges with Agni; Agni into Jala and Jala into Prithvi (Moon-Mercury) which is the root cause of all things creative. Moon begins its entry in its own sign Cancer in the 4th pada of Punarvasu ruled by Jupiter. Those with Moon in Cancer will also have a productive/fertile imaginings from 0ºCn00 - 3º20’ While those with 6º40’-10º00 Moon in Cancer will have their plus points in Virgo (Prithvi) navamsa, which is the 2nd pada of Pushyami ruled by Saturn (Vayu tattwa). Notice that in this state, it requires Agni element for this (Vayu) Pushkara point to manifest. You will find that those with Moon in the moksha pada can only be comfortable with their intuitive feelings being in Meena navamsa, provided Jupiter (akash) is in a Vayu navamsa. So we always have to look at the subtleties and the interlinks of each of these planets, though we must not forget the main player is the Sun (agni). Guest guest
Dear Samarth How can be God a mirror? Is it technically feasible? Dear Swee What happens when Sun and Moon are together in meena navamsa? :-) best wishes partha On 4/25/05, Swee Chan <swee wrote: Jaya Jagannatha Dear Samarth, Please give us some references with regard to Lord Dakshinamurthy.
