Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Partha, Thanks for your list. In Jataka Parijata Adhyaya I Text 58 The degrees for Pushkara Bhagas is the following beginning from Aries: 21, 14, 18, 8, 19, 9, 24, 11, 23, 14, 19, 9 Following the rules, beginning from Mesha, the sequence is Mesha, Simha, Dhanus From Vishabha, it is Vrishabha, Kanya, etc. At 21 degrees Mesha, it is 7th which is Tula Navamsa 14 degrees Vishabha, it is the 2nd Navamsa, which is Vrishabha. How did you get it to be the 5th etc. In perspective of those degrees and direct plotting to the 108 navamsa, there does not seem to be a regular pattern. I have highlighted only the degrees concerned and not the trine as yet. Any help JK? Thank you J I’m so happy you’ve stirred up this. A good send off for my w/end break. Guest guest
Dear Swee I got this from Zoran's site, and if i remember well then even C.S.Patel in his book on navamsa mentions the same. If i understand correctly what we mean here is Pushkara Navamsa. What you quoted was a degree just like mrityubhaga degree. So there seems to be a variation here, but i would go with C.S.Patel, as it appeals to the logic of " AMSAS " . Ofcourse you might point out that AMSA can be a part of any divisional, but when we talk of Fortune, punya etc, we have to see Navamsa, and Navamsa is always 3.2 degrees. Also please note in the list that i gave it is a very even mapping. For example All fire signs have 7th and 9th navamsa as pushkara amsas, All earth signs have 3rd and fifth amsa and so on . best wishes partha , " Swee Chan " <swee@c...> wrote: > Jaya Jagannatha > > Dear Partha, > > Thanks for your list. Guest guest
Dear Partha, Namaste, Where did Zoran get his Pushakara Bhagas from; any ref? Pushakara means auspicious and not Mrytu (death) sensitive degrees, which I would like to plot to Navamsa. Whether this is 108 Navamsas (3 degrees 20 mins of 4 padas ech) or Nadiamsa or to both, so these points concur with the statements from Deva Keralam. I’ll have another review of my own understanding. Good send off. Have a nice w/end. Love, Swee On Behalf Of V.Partha sarathy Friday, April 15, 2005 1:28 PM Re: [Jaya Jagannatha] Pushkar Amsas? Guest guest
Dear Dasgupta Sir, Swee The logic for pushkara amsas is very simple. Only the benefic navamsas owned by Jupiter, Venus, mercury and moon are considered. Swee you were asking as to whom Zoran was quoting in his article. He talks of C.S.PAtel again. May be what you are saying is valid, i am not doubting that, what i am saying is that both may be slightly different, or may have different usage. Pushkara navamsas may not be Pushkara bhagas(points) best wishes partha , " Swee Chan " <swee@c...> wrote: > Jaya Jagannatha > > Dear JK, Partha and Chandrashekharji, > > Thank you JK, for marking out the points so I may have a look at them in > perspective. Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Partha, CS Patel quoted from Muhurata Darpana with the following Pushkara Bhagas thus: Beginning from Aries: 21, 14, 24, 7, 21, 14, 24, 7, 21, 14, 24, 7 The pattern that is evident here is beginning from each sign every 5th sign gives the same degree. Much appreciated if there are any takers on the regions so far? Keen to collate this with stories from Mahabharata, though most likely they are from the Ramayana.
