Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Members, It is always interesting to look at a chart and initially decide the cosmic mirror of the person’s psyche. I am currently teaching 2 students here who are only interested in the psychological make up of the person. Saffiye is a Psychologist and Rob is an author who writes books on Voodoo J. Many a time, we are told that the jyotish requires intuition. What constitutes Intuition? Intuition is when a person has a predominantly watery nature. This person will have this natural disposition. The Watery signs are Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. People who have predominant Watery Nature with planets in them will relate and respond to people and situations chiefly through the faculty of feeling. Their emphasis comes with a knack of intuitiveness with sympathy and compassion. The crux is that we need to look for that sign/planet that can ground the person. If Jupiter aspects the watery sign, he nature is to teach and to help the person go within their own inner depths to search for the truth. If Saturn aspects these watery signs but not on the Moon, their compassion are geared more towards those less fortunate, hoping to alleviate their sufferings by assuming a part of it themselves. If Rahu aspects any of these watery signs and not upon Moon, it gives the ability of clairaudience, etc. We can read the other planets accordingly. Let’s look at the following chart to give a better picture on intuition. I am presenting the chart in 2 formats for both Western Astrologers and Jyotishas. The ascendant is a Watery Sign with its own Lord, Jupiter in it. Sun shows the REAL Cosmic Mirror of the persona of past, present and future. The native has the nature of transmuting knowledge. The house of the occult is ruled by Venus and it is also in a watery sign. We can conclude that the person has strong Water Elements and the grounding planet comes from Earthy Mercury in a Fire Sign. This gives a restless nature whose love of exciting experiences and situations are often very impulsive. The predominant Watery Nature can work up steam with the ability to tune in with direct expressions of his inner feelings to others in an overt and warm manner. Jupiter and its trinal aspects on Sun and Venus gives his healing influence on others. The combinations of planets in Watery Signs gives the person considerable intuition. It also makes the person creative and perhaps his creative instincts are best suited to writing where he can motivate others. The Lagna Lord in a watery sign with the aspects to the 5th also indicates that he is well suited to work with others where he can experience inspiration, but frustrations and problems come together hand in hand. In my next mail, I shall present a chart that indicates clairaudience. Love, Swee www..org/learning
Guest guest
Jaya Jagannatha Dear Marcus and Partha, A person requires “grounding” with Watery Moon. Marcus, Partha has given you the answer as to the reason why it is not the Moon, but the Sun, the natural Atma J that recalls past memories and allows us this special gift that we may tap into. One planet in an Earthy sign is enough for grounding Moon. If two planets in Fire Signs are in aspect, it is better in the productive cycle, but you will notice the person gets “burnt out” rather quickly. In the productive cycle, Fire causes the Water to steam. If there is only one Fire Sign and there are more Watery Signs, the watery nature takes over and will douse the Fire. In this case, you may see a lot more imagination that wills the person. The Air Sign also needs to be in the equation to allow the free flow of the thought process. I am embedding a chart here of an old friend, with whom we had an “astral” session together in days of yore. Joe was a highly successful lawyer, turned lecturer. He was also one of the main/personal advisor for the Conservative party in UK. He’s given all that up and is now fast becoming a well known artist in oil paints. His watery nature is prominent with Sun (Atma) in a Watery sign and both AK Rahu and Jupiter are in an Air sign. Notice the very difficult T square relationship of Saturn and Moon whereby he disregards his self worth and contributions. Moon is an Earthy sign requires him to tap into his psychic ability with the use of a medium, like the ouija board; psychometry was what I encouraged and this became expressed into his beautiful works of art. Notice that Venus is in trines to his AK. During his Aquarius Drig Dasa, he was initiated by Sri Gurumayi and his paintings depicts Lakshmi and Vishnu in all abstract forms and colours. Partha: Both your Sun and Moon will be in the 12th Navamsa in Watery Signs. Your Moon is in Pushakaramsa. A year after your birth, did your father have a raja yoga? You will also find that during those pratyantardasa of Sun and especially Moon, there is something substantial for you. This will especially manifest after your marriage J I have also noted that your AK Sun’s amsa is the same amsa as my AK Moon. Now I can see the connection between us J BUT the pushkara bhagas is what intrigued me when I was going through Jataka Parijata. Since this is one of the books in our syllabus, I have no intention to discuss the pushakara bhagas as stated in Phaldeepika. More later. Though i deal with practical cases all the time, psychic phenomena is close to my heart. Trust me, as i have AK sun in Jyestha and i love to read these things. Sun and mars are important for sight, moon for intuition. Jupiter is above all these, he is Pure awareness. lovely discussion best wishes partha , " Marcus " <marcus@j...> wrote: > Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya > > Hello Swee, > > here is my retro Mercury again. Guest guest
Dear Marcus, I got an invitation from to join and with Swee being the motivator of the chapter, I could not deny. I too remember our time at Puri with fondness. I have convyed your kind wishes to my wife. She also remembers the nice time we had at Puri and has asked me to give her regards to you. I have looked at the chart. The first thing that strikes me is the connection of Sun to Venus occupying 6th (also conjunct Saturn) and his aspect on 12th house. I also see Moon the other Luminary conjunct Mandi and Gulika. does this not indicate problems with eyesight, especially to the left eye? The lady is intelligent no doubt. She also has Ruchaka yoga. That part is all right. Again if we look at Navamsha, we see affliction to Sun who is in Maranakarana sthana with Rahu. The second house in natal chart receives aspect of Saturn and the said 2nd house is in 12th house in navamsha. In Navamsha venus is in 3rd conjunct Mars. This would make me ask the lady to seek consultation from an optolmalogist to check whether retinal detachment or infra ocular fluid pressure is there. I do not find any direct connection to clairvoyance, though her intelligence can not be denied. Give my regards to all our friends, Chandrashekhar. Guest guest
Dear Swee Do you have Atmakaraka article by Sanjayji?. He discusses Lahiri Mahasaya chart. Now let me share a secret, i have noticed that people whose AK is in scorpio, Cancer and Pisces are very close to me. WHose AK is close to my BK's degree(23 degree Scorpio) are very much my advisers, and those whose AK is really close to my AK degree and its trines have been getting lot of advices from my side. Forgot to mention, even those whose AK is in taurus. I have noticed this in many many cases. It cannot be a coincidence. Yes sun is the one to look for first. Then comes others. Sun is the Atma. Swee i hope you are talking of Vimshottari only when you talk of pratyantar dasas, as i see that Dwisaptati is applicable to me. My father had always had a raja yoga, first in education and then in career. Smooth rise to the Top. If not for heart surgery of 1999, he would have been Director of Steel company, now He is a general manager. My case is total opposite., I excelled in education only briefly. I flattered to decieve. Big promises, but little output. I can say that i was mediocre in studies. I saw different versions of Pushakaramsas by C.S.Patel and Phaladeepika. You seem to follow some other method. best wishes partha On 4/14/05, Swee Chan <swee wrote: > > > Jaya Jagannatha > > > > Dear Marcus and Partha, > > > > A person requires " grounding " with Watery Moon. Guest guest
Dear Marcus, i think sixth sense or intuition is linked to Mercury in Samudrika Shastra. Chandrashekhar. Marcus wrote: Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Hello Swee, here is my retro Mercury again. Can you please correct me with my understanding in respect to the tatwas and 6th sense. What you say is very clear and the sample of Jupiter in watery sign will allow the intuition to come to you in form of Jupiter = Ether and so with knowledge. It is the hearing and understanding. Moon is the mind and 6th sense. So any relation to the Moon and the watery signs should open this intuitive power. Can we relate this also to the eyes/mars, nose/mercury and tongue/Venus depending what planets are in watery signs.??? Thank you for your time. Marcus Sun and Moon – sight and 6th sense +Jupiter, as he is the one with the knowledge; His natural home is a fire sign but he is happier in a water sign as the watery nature of Moon is able to transmute his knowledge from deep within. Sanjay ji’s Jupiter is at home in its own house. Whereas mine is in exchange, so basically, Jupiter is also in a watery sign. Most times, when Sanjay ji writes about something, I am able to read in between the lines and immediately “pick up” what he is trying to tell us with out saying too much.
