Respected Sanjay Ji and members,

Regarding the teachings on Tattwa in the houses from Lagna to the

5th House and the Dharma Bhavas as reckoned therefrom, I have a

question.

The 2nd House is said to have Agni Tattwa and indicates the physical

eyes. The 9th therefrom, the 10th House from the Lagna indicates

sight, according to Jaimini.

Likewise, the 3rd House shows the physical ears and the Akash

Tattwa, and the 9th therefrom, the 11th from Lagna shows the sense

of hearing.

It is taight in the lecture that the houses from Lagna to the 5th

show the physical organ and the 9th therefrom shows the sense/ the

activity. Thus, the Lagna has the Vayu Tattwa and Sparsha, the

activity is seen from the 9th.

My qiestion is if the physical organ of touch is located in the

Lagna, and the quality of touch in the 9th, why should the 9th Lord

show the shape etc of the organ of touching as it were, the fingers,

rather than the Lagna Lord.

The 9th House should indicate the quality and nature of Sparsha and

the 9th Lord according to its nature would dictate the nature of the

touch. Why should the physical nature of the fingers be not seen

from the Lagna and the Lagna Lord, just as physical eyes, ears, nose

are seen from the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Houses respectively.

I do hope I am not missing something obvious.

Regards.

Anurag.
