Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna |||| Om Gurave Namah ||Dear Utpal, Namaskar. My knowledge on Gita is very limited but I offer you my understanding. 1. 'Sarvaguhyatamam': Sarva-guhya-tamam means "most secret of all". It is not exactly a secret in the ordinary sense. It means "most profound" or very deep in meaning. It is sometimes said that the Soul or Atman is the most knowable and known to us and yet our attention is drawn outside so much that we forget It. This profound meaning i.e. the true identity of Atman is hidden in the womb of Maayaa Shakti. 2. You are right in saying that Chp 18. Sloka 65-66 etc. is the direct promise of the Lord to His devotees. No doubt about it.3. Give some benefit of doubt to Sri Arjuna. It may not be true that Arjuna completely forgot the Supreme Knowledge that Lord Krishna delivered. In Chp 18. Sloka 65, Lord says that Arjuna is His most beloved and it is so because Arjuna is not any ordinary mortal and had the potential to be a jnani. He is the "rich soil" and the Lord had planted the "seed" of jnana in him. It takes time for the tree of jnana to flourish. And, there is always a little dip before the culminating rise; the episode of the death of his son should not be given importance too much (my understanding). While in the realm of Maayaa there are always some fluctuations. I hope you get some enriching replies, and I learn from them as well.Best wishes,Sourav==============================================sohamsa , Utpal Pathak <vedic_pathak> wrote:>> Namaskaar Bharat Bhai, Swee & members,> > It may not be out of place to reproduce a message which was written on "Gita". Guest guest
Dear Sourav, Namaste, Thanks for your reply. " Sarva Guhya Tamam " is the word which is used by " Muralidhar " only once. each word of his must be loaded with potential meaning & as earlied said, it is used only once & that too at the very end. to me this seems to be much more than casual. Sourav Bhai!! who am i to comment on Arjun? The friend of Govind. I just gave that example so that we can understand the pathetic situation of us. where Arjuna was in so much of distress (at least seen from " loukik " drashti)when Abhimanyu expired, then it is difficult to imagine the plight of mortals of 21st century. thanks again for your response arm reagdrs, Utpal Pathak sohamsa , " Sourav Chowdhury " <souravc108> wrote: > > > || Hare Rama Krishna || > > || Om Gurave Namah || > > Dear Utpal, > > Namaskar.
