Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru Namaste Devika Ji, As I have recited Rudram Chamakam, few selected Anuvakams for people who are in need in the past and send them in MP3 format. If you do not find the Rudram Chamakam elsewhere, then let me know what Anuvakam you are looking for, then I can recite and send it to you. Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Devika-ji and Manoj-ji, namaskar. As far as I have known Sri K V Raman's Rudram & Chamakam is best. Please find it in www.musicindiaonline.com. (search with " Raman K V " under " Devotional " " Singer " in this site). I have an authentic copy of Rudram & Chamakam which I can scan and send to you both. It has slight variations from Sri Raman's recitation at a couple of places. Sri Raman's recitation is unique as it is breathless. Best regards, Sourav PS: Please send me your e-mail ID in which you want to receive the file for transcript and also let me know if you would be able to open PDF file. Please give me a couple of days to do this. ================================================================== sohamsa , Manoj Sharma <manojsharma662000> wrote: > Dear Raghunatha saheb, > I have been told that I should recite rudram chamakam > as Saturn is transiting my 10th house (for which I am > unemployed). Guest guest
My grand father shri Y N Sharma's - recitation (along with Hari Achutha Sastry) was recorded with Sangeetha CD/cassettes - was blessed by the late chandrasekhara saraswathi of Kanchi. I play it every day. I believe they used to give the sanskrit text of Rudram - Namakam & Chamakam, as well as Purusha suktam, Shri Suktam and Mantra Pushpam. I do not know if Sangeetha Company is giving the text anymore. thanks Srinivas Vadhri sohamsa , " Sourav Chowdhury " <souravc108> wrote: > || Hare Rama Krishna || > > Dear Devika-ji and Manoj-ji, > namaskar. Guest guest
Dear all in this thread There is a website astrojyoti.com. There are available mp3 format of Rudram, chamakam and other sukthams, which are quiete clear and well recorded. I think the owner of the site pandit Tata (I think, excuse me as I forgot the Full name) is also a member of this list. You all may want to have a look at this. But there are also commercial cd's available and one by Hari Achyutha Ananta sastry, Naga bhooshanam I think and released by Vani is also a good source for rudram/chamakam in audio. Guest guest
Om Krishna Guru Namaste Devika Ji, Thanks for the note. So many have responded to your request giving many good links to download the Rudram-Chamakam from Internet. So please download that and listen and let me spare my time for some one who needs it. I have recited some of the Anuvakams sometime ago, when few people could not get the audio in the internet. My Guru Ji also corrected my pronounciation in this exercise which inturn also helped in my Sanskrit learning too. So please download and listen and follow the correct pronouciation. I assume that, some one has suggested you to recite the entire Rudram Chamakam and you are not doing on your own. For your information, I always look for a Good Muhurta to start any Mantra / Japam. That is why you may have noticed in my analysis, I always ask where the native currently living, so that I can look for a good muhurta and suggest a date and time to start the Japam if required for the native. I always check for a Good Muhurta for reading any new Jyotish Book, in this process, sometimes even I wait for few weeks to read a New Jyotish Book which is in my hands already. In other words, quality of the time is to be considered for starting such activities and I always take adivse from my Guru Ji on these things and I assume my fellow students do follow their Gurus advise too. Anyhow, that is what I follow and others may have a different opinion and I respect their view too. Now I will not look for Rudram Chamakam anywhere else. Please take your time to record, it would be worth waiting.
