Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Namaste Pierre, The study of religion is vast and mysterious/mystic. But, For good introduction to concepts in Vedanga Jyotish and it's philosophy, You should study atleast, 1. Bhagavat Geeta. 2. Mahabhaarata (And Or Ramayana) This will give you a very good foundation to understand various concepts. Bhagavata Geeta will give you introduction to understand various Vedanta Philosophy, It's a summary of many Upanishads. Mahaabhaarata is very highly acclaimed and It's sometimes said to be 5th Veda ( Rik, Yajur, Saama and Atharva being others). Common man cannot study and understand Vedas easily. So, Maharishi Vyasa has written this in a Story form for easy understanding. The above to are pre requisite to even begin Jyotish Studies. Warm Regards Sanjay P.
