Guest guest
|| Hare Rama Krishna || Dear Sanjay-ji, Pranam. Your document on Chandra/Kemadruma Yogas (that you have kindly uploaded in this group) is an eye-opener and we very much appreciate these insights you provide time to time for our understanding. Many of the yogas given in classics are not provided with clear rationale and very often seem arbitrary. The way you linked tides to financial fortune is interesting and provides a 'flood' of thoughts to lunar yogas. As I read your document, I felt I had these questions, as below. Would you kindly set me in the right direction for these questions? (1) You mentioned gravitational pull as the necessary and important force for tides. Other planets (including the Sun but excluding chayya grahas, Rahu and Ketu) increase/decrease the tidal effects as per their locations. That is why, w.r.t Mo, their locations on 2/12 or 6/7/8 are important. My question is that is there a gradation as to which of these other planets are more/less important ? They have various masses and are located at various distances from the earth. For example, Sa is far away, so will it have less influence than say Me or Ve ? (2) You mentioned " planets other than the Su " . Why is Su not also involved in giving Chandra Yogas ? (3) Why, in case of Durudhara Yoga, there is additional support ? If the planet (other than Su) in the 12-th from Mo will shows expenses (lessing of tide) then Durudhara Yoga would seem to be a yoga of moderate means i.e. earning/expenditure balancing out. (4) Because Ra and Ke and chayya grahas (mathematical points of the zodiac), they cannot exert tidal effects. (a) But Ra and Ke does sometimes have a lot of influence on our aquisitions and expenditures. Then, to me, positions of Ra and Ke w.r.t Mo has some influence on the fortune, although they cannot participate in the Chandra yogas per se. How to identify such influences ? (b) During total solar/lunar eclipses, tidal forces can be significant. How to interpret that vis-a-vis Chandra yogas. (5) (a) What happens if the 12L (w.r.t Lagna or Mo) is a planet other than Su and Nodes and is located in the 2nd house to Mo. Suppose also that there is no planet in the 12-th from Mo. This is a case of Sunapha Yoga. But if we refer to Rasi chart, 12-th Lord's agenda is giving expenses. Then how will it increase wealth ? (b) You also mentioned various planeraty combinations for Sunapha/Anapha/Durudhara yogas. Would you kindly provide some hints for these yogas in various houses w.r.t Lagna ? (6) Durudhara Yoga is a a type of Kartari Yoga. Suppose Mo is between two malefics (say Sa and Ma) be termed as a beneficial yoga. As I further read in your document Mo in kartari between Sa and Ma gives: " bad spouse. He will save a lot of money. He will have vices. He will be given to anger and be a tale bearer. He will win over his enemies. " which is all not good. This means there are various gradations of the said Lunar yogas ? (7) You mentioned : " Worship of the deity associated with the predominant tatva gives wealth and sustenance. " How do we find the predominant tatva ? It is not very clear to me. Thank you much for your kindness. Your document on Chandra/Kemadruma Yogas(that you have kindly uploaded in this group) is an eye-opener andwe very much appreciate these insights you provide time to time forour understanding. Many of the yogas given in classics are notprovided with clear rationale and very often seem arbitrary. The wayyou linked tides to financial fortune is interesting and providesa 'flood' of thoughts to lunar yogas.[s.Rath:] Thank you for your kind words. I hope you continue learning in this direction As I read your document, I felt I had these questions, as below.Would you kindly set me in the right direction for these questions?(1) You mentioned gravitational pull as the necessary and importantforce for tides. Other planets (including the Sun but excludingchayya grahas, Rahu and Ketu) increase/decrease the tidal effectsas per their locations. That is why, w.r.t Mo, their locations on2/12 or 6/7/8 are important. My question is that is there agradation as to which of these other planets are more/lessimportant ? They have various masses and are located at variousdistances from the earth. For example, Sa is far away, so will ithave less influence than say Me or Ve ?[s.Rath:] The gunas are modified due to the pull of these planets. Mercury is the most dangerous in mundane mantters as it causes the Prithvi tatva to shift and can cause tectonic movements and earth shifts. Guru causes a great magnetic field and has the power over akasa tatva which is not visible like the magnetic field but can cause the brain to function very differently. Saturn causes the vayu tatva to be agitated and storms can rage and hurricances can blow hard. Venus causes tsunami's and great tides and sometimes flooding due to its pull. Mars is the agni and adds great energy and strength to everything happening. The proportion is very high. this is how to understand the lunar yogas. For example see the chart for the Asia Tsunami - Mercury and venus acted with the Moon and this caused major devastation of both land mass and water flooding. 0310 - Columbo, Sri Lanka December 26, 2004Time: 3:10:00 amTime Zone: 0:00:00 (West of GMT)Place: 79 E 50' 00", 6 N 55' 00" Columbo, Sri Lanka[s.Rath:] This is just an example of how the Venus, Mercury and Mars being behind the Sun (or Moon) caused devastation after the high tide. (2) You mentioned "planets other than the Su". Why is Su not alsoinvolved in giving Chandra Yogas ?[s.Rath:] The Sun gives the natural tide and does not modify it.It shows the overall wealth of the world and not how individuals get different proportion of the same. (3) Why, in case of Durudhara Yoga, there is additional support ? Ifthe planet (other than Su) in the 12-th from Mo will shows expenses(lessing of tide) then Durudhara Yoga would seem to be a yoga ofmoderate means i.e. earning/expenditure balancing out.[s.Rath:] It gives money to meet expenses, and in that sense is also giving money. It causes a desire and then the need is manifested through means provided by it to meet it. Thus planets in 12th are not just expenses. They are wealth giving for meeting expenses. (4) Because Ra and Ke and chayya grahas (mathematical points of thezodiac), they cannot exert tidal effects.[s.Rath:] Thats right (a) But Ra and Ke does sometimes have a lot of influence on ouraquisitions and expenditures. Then, to me, positions of Ra and Kew.r.t Mo has some influence on the fortune, although they cannotparticipate in the Chandra yogas per se. How to identify suchinfluences ?[s.Rath:] They do not alter tides, they alter the mind for acceptance or not of the wealth coming from the tides - Ketu is moksha karaka and the native is disinclined to accept the welath whereas the Rahu is the desire for wealth more than what is promised in the tides of the chart. Both these extreme positions are bad for the social life.(b) During total solar/lunar eclipses, tidal forces can besignificant. How to interpret that vis-a-vis Chandra yogas.[s.Rath:] Thats why even kigs become paupers due to the nodes as the king (enjoying Rahu) follows Ketu and has to become sadhu or renounce the throne and the pauper becomes the king. Eclipses cause change and this has been taught in my paper or eclipses. have you read that? (5)(a) What happens if the 12L (w.r.t Lagna or Mo) is a planet otherthan Su and Nodes and is located in the 2nd house to Mo. Supposealso that there is no planet in the 12-th from Mo. Then how will it increase wealth ?(b) You also mentioned various planeraty combinations forSunapha/Anapha/Durudhara yogas. Would you kindly provide some hintsfor these yogas in various houses w.r.t Lagna ?(6) Durudhara Yoga is a a type of Kartari Yoga. Suppose Mo isbetween two malefics (say Sa and Ma) be termed as a beneficial yoga.As I further read in your document Mo in kartari between Sa and Magives: "bad spouse. He will save a lot of money. How do we find thepredominant tatva ? It is not very clear to me.[s.Rath:] OK I have written enough and have to go in 10 minutes. Please excuse me. I will try to answer other questions later. Can you make a summary of all this for the Kemadruma paper which I can attach as a FAQ. Thank you much for your kindness.Pranaam and best regards,Sourav================================================================== With best wishes and warm regards, Sanjay Rath * * * Sri Jagannath Center® 15B Gangaram Hospital Road New Delhi 110060, India http://srath.com, +91-11-25717162 * * *
